Took my $350 for a 30 min phone consultation that lasted maybe 10 mins. This was my first call to an attorney, and I later found out that most other attorneys will give you a few minutes of their time to see if you have a case. To your response: I know how your hustle works, alright... initial 5 minute conversation was not a consultation, but an introduction to a fee for a consultation, which I paid. My $350 consultation should have been partially reimbursement since the alloted time was not used.

I believed these reviews and hired this attorney for my case. He doesn’t have any empathy. He billed me $1200 for brief emails that he answered with a yes or a no and didn’t even bother to go over the city and state rules regarding evictions.
To the Iranians and other Farsi speaking customers, if you are going for him because he is Iranian and you feel more comfortable with him, don’t because he doesn’t have an atom worth of Iranian culture of kindness and respect.

Yousef was highly recommended by an attorney friend of mine.
I found him to be very kind, supportive and knowledgeable about landlord/tenant law.
My landlords were abusive (locking me in from their electronic gates,) turning off my power, turning off my water and bullying service people when they came to do WiFi repairs (which they also turned off.)
Additionally, they were renting me an illegal unit with no Certificate of Occupancy and I was not able to receive mail directly because the address for the unit was not permitted by the City of Los Angeles.
Yousef always got right on it to remediate each situation I found myself in, and as an older gal, I needed someone to guide me through the process. He completely took the reins. He was dependable and responsive to my calls and emails.
I am forever grateful for his guidance and support during a most trying time.
I highly recommend Yousef for representation in legal matters.

Yousef was amazing. I had a tenant who owed us more than $90,000 but the most important thing for us was to get her out as soon as possible. Considering the restrictions in place, that was not going to be easy. But Yousef spoke with the tenant and came up with a compromise that got her out as soon as possible without giving up our right to past due amounts.

Plus, he's really nice and responsive. Both excellent qualities in an attorney. I highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Yousef. I retained Yousef to help rescue me from an unfair and unethical landlord eviction. During our initial consult, he was very responsive, asked all the right questions, and advised me on next steps and possible outcomes. In doing my due diligence of course I reached out to multiple attorneys, I was surprised (not in a good way), to say the least by the overall aggressive and uncaring nature of the others. There was no doubt Yousef was my guy. I was a bit panicked as I had received notice just a few days before I was meant to appear in court. Yousef met with me on a Sunday evening at his office. He had an impressive understanding of my circumstances given our short communication. He was prepared and explained the process and what I should expect. He could see I was upset and confused, he was very kind and very reassuring. He fought effectively in getting my case settled, always followed up, and just genuinely felt invested. I also have to mention his assistant Vanessa, had it not been for her being so helpful, so sweet, and so responsive when fielding his calls, I'm not sure I would have reached him. Yousef and Vanessa are the BEST team to have in your corner when dealing with evictions!

1. PRICE: Reasonably priced and considering how much time and headache they save you, worth every penny.
2. RESULTS: Yousef got me default judgements in blazing fast speed despite the tenants attempting to drag out the process by filing frivolous demurrers. The only delays were due to the court but never on Yousef's part. They were quick to file documents and already took care of things every time I called to check it was done!
3. COMMUNICATION: They are unbelievably responsive and assessible. Vanessa was always thorough in answering my questions and Yousef even took long calls with me at 6pm. I always got answers the same day.
4. EXPERIENCE: It's clear that Yousef and Vanessa are very well versed in evictions from their knowledge and expertise. I appreciated that they explained the process and what to expect so well.
5. RELIABILITY: Evicting bad tenants and losing income is stressful but since hiring Yousef, I felt at ease. It gave me peace of mind knowing I have a competent eviction lawyer handling this problem for me and I only need to wait for the process to take course.
