I had vetted a number of attorney's before deciding to work with Alana to help me settle my divorce. From the unset I found her knowledgeable, creditable and a great listener to my priorities for the outcome of my divorce. My ex-husband made the divorce process very challenging which drug out the process longer than necessary. Alana was amazing at keeping me patient, sane and adhering to the process. I ultimately got to a wonderful conclusion with all of my priorities meet. She is a great attorney to work with and I would highly recommend her.

Alana was exceptional in handling our neutral divorce mediation. Her professionalism and calm demeanor made the whole thing very efficient, and she provided great guidance in shepherding us through what could have been a stressful and frustrating process. She took the time to clearly explain each step without being patronizing or opinionated the way some attorneys can be. I would highly recommend Alana if you’re looking for a fair, honest, intelligent, and reliable divorce attorney.

Throughout the process, I encountered several issues that were both frustrating and harmful:

- The paralegal frequently provided incorrect facts and details for the stipulation, requiring me to step in and correct them multiple times, which I feared I was being charged for. Even during the final stipulation, errors persisted, leading me to scrap everything to focus solely on establishing a proper visitation schedule—an effort that cost me $$$ just to undo the mistakes from the initial draft.
- The request for income documents had already been submitted back in December, yet I was asked to provide the same documents again in February. These matters should have been addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner, but instead, they added unnecessary delays and frustration.
- Documents often contained spelling errors, which further diminished my confidence in the work being handled accurately.
- Explanations provided to me were unclear, and when I sought clarification, I often felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued client.
- I did not receive any meaningful counsel or advice throughout the process. Instead, it was conveyed to me that Alana's role was primarily to file paperwork rather than provide guidance, leaving me feeling unsupported during a challenging time.
- In fact, the request for this review was unprofessional, as the paralegal sent a vague email asking for a favor without providing any context.

Adding to the distress of my situation, false information (referenced above) was shared with the other party without my knowledge or understanding. This caused extreme harm to which I am still having to navigate.

Additionally, I initially requested to file for Joint Custody, not Sole Custody, which was incorrectly handled. This error caused significant trust issues between me and my co-parent, further complicating an already sensitive situation.

These repeated mistakes, lack of clarity, and insufficient support made an already difficult process far more stressful and challenging than it needed to be.

I would not work with Alana again.
