This place is ridiculous. Equipment is so obsolete and issued to so many units that come through for ”training”. Units constantly lose components, most often not because of negligence, but the training circumstances, terrain, night training, etc. Individuals and units end up getting charged ridiculous amounts of money for old and obsolete equipment that will never be replaced.
And to highlight the ineffective system of the miles processes, the issue is done by contractors, which cost the Department of Defense millions of dollars.
It seems like a very corrupt system.

It's time to get rid of this huge volume of obsolete property and replace it with modern and simpler. And have actual soldiers working with it, not contractors.
