I can’t thank Margaret and Dixie enough! They are very much hands on and quick to respond as well as very knowledgeable on what they do. You would think that you were the only case they are working because of how dedicated and loyal they are to your matter. I refer to Margaret a silent gangsta because she is the sweetest lady until she is in front of your opposition then she’s NOBODY to play with! I’ve seen her make a grown man tremble. Dixie is very open and honest and she won’t tell you what you want to hear but she will tell you how it is. Also, she doesn’t mind giving you her opinion if she personally doesn’t agree with something that may hurt you. They truly look out for your best interest at all cost. Before hiring Margaret I had 3 people refer her along with two of those being a sheriff. I highly recommend!! And I know some lawyers discount your pay if you leave them a review and I can tell you this is a true review from someone who still has an open balance that will be paid off very very soon.

I hired Margaret after hiring another lawyer, who was triple her price. It was family court (child custody stuff). The first lawyer didn’t get me half of what she did. I was extremely happy with my results and highly recommend her to any one. It can be difficult to get ahold of her on the phone but so was my first lawyer. It was better for me to schedule an appointment to come in and talk.

She was appointed to my Husband and from the get go was Spot on! Getting her has made our life a little bit easier would hire her for any other matters we might need. She answers day or night I read the negative comments and it's un fair if you got a bad result it's due to you or your loved ones stupidity if you were wrongly accused wrongly detained etc. Look in the mirror. She goes above and beyond to help those who should pay for their defense by her. If you got a bum deal . Look in the mirror. She's the best defense lawyer in Lee county. Your lucky to get her free legal counsel. I would pay her ten times just what she's done so far see you in court! Thanks again

I feel like the case was not taken seriously and definitely was at the bottom of her list of priorities. The case my brother hired her for was a child custody/visitation case and the concerns he voiced to Margaret was not addressed in court. She is very hard to her in contact with and never calls back. She never laid eyes on my brother and his wife and it was two days before the court hearing and the meeting lasted maybe twenty minutes.

Margaret has been my attorney every time I’ve needed one. It’s like she replied in a different review, she can’t GUARANTEE results, but I was satisfied with the results each time. Still haven't met her or talked to her in person only thru email. She was appointed to me by the court. Been a year since my case began. Still awaiting trial. (2021)
Edit: a year later - still waiting to meet her in person or hear anything from her about my case. (Aug, 2022)
Edit: A day after I wrote the above edit, Margaret emailed me this message: "I will check with the clerk but I think it was (dismissed) a good while back. We do not get notice of that automatically."
So I called LCJC myself and they told me my case was dismissed back in April. No one even called me, emailed me or sent a letter in the mail to let me know my case was dismissed.
