When I decided to really commit to buying a condo in Telluride, Matt was recommended to me by a friend who is a realtor in California and someone I really trust. And I am glad that I went with the recommendation.

Buying a second home in a vacation area, especially one with limited inventory is not simple or fast. Matt took the time to tell me about the local regulations that were important to me and overall market conditions, given the overall economy. I think he figured out pretty quick that I like to have a lot of information and detail.

When units came up for sale, Matt always seemed to know about the unit and why it might or might not be a good fit. He conducted a number of virtual walkthroughs, including going back to places I had already “seen” on a virtual walkthrough. It took two years to find “the” place and throughout it all, Matt remained, patient and thoughtful, providing good insights on location, value and condo association. When I finally made an offer he helped on price negotiations, and when I got to Telluride to actually see the place, he had lined up a bunch of other places to see in person, so I could feel comfortable with my choice.

He was also instrumental in getting documents and working with the condo president, HOA and lender to make sure the closing happened in a timely manner.

It’s clear his professional and social relationships in town helped me close on a fantastic condo. I feel lucky to have found a highly experienced, organized and honest realtor who was able to leverage his deep knowledge of the inventory, the market and provide clear, straight talking advice that helped me make a decision.
