We knew we needed to update our estate plan documents and I'm so glad I reached out to Carolyn Duncan to have her review them. Turns out the previous attorney did not have the necessary knowledge to ensure our plan was accurate and without contradictory instructions. We worked with Carolyn to completely redo the entire plan. I love her worksheets and questionnaires that helped my husband and I consider every option and articulate our true wishes. I would never have completed everything needed without the friendly nudges from Kelsey! Life happens and sometimes a gentle reminder is exactly what I need to get back on track. I cannot recommend Carolyn highly enough. She is professional, kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. She is also fun to work with!

I was referred to Duncan Legal from a friend and have to say I was a little nervous at first because I never met them. But Carolyn was very easy to work with along with her staff. They did my uncle’s trust in and week and even came to his home, which was across town to sign his papers. Highly recommend them.

Carolyn Duncan created an estate plan that is a perfect fit for me. The plan encompassses a full set of documents that includes a trust, pour-over will, durable power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney, advance directive, and beneficiary designations. I have peace of mind knowing that the various puzzle pieces of healthcare directives are in place. I chose the trust route to avoid probate after having learned first hand that the probate process was long, required an attorney, versus the trust allows the assets to flow where directed when my time comes.
