If you are buddies with the Teller county assessor's office, they will keep your assessment much lower! They kept a neighbor's similar property like ours, well, they have about 4 acres more at about $155,000 for about four years! I finally had evidence to prove that they are corrupt so this year they finally adjusted their friends assessment. I can give you names and details!

Hmmmm... they step onto your property neglecting your rights and take pictures with no search warrants in the name of “providing up to date analysis of property values.” They show up in unmarked vehicles & actually believe they have the right to trespass because they have a clipboard. Are you kidding me?! The leader of this organization thinks they have the right to do so & doesn’t uphold this country’s constitution. Our dogs almost bit them for walking into our backyard without permission. Let us trespass on your property & see your reaction. They told us that would be different because we’re not the city!
