I will tell my experience after everything is done as I cannot give an honest answer until then. Those who follow my reviews know that it is very important to me to be straight up. I keep an open mind when reviewing as I believe it's only fair and that's why I put personal experiences or information in my reviews. We are all different and see things differently hence why I explain myself or go in depth in my reviews. Plus, I like to tie in some thoughts or words of encouragement or such. I gave this place 5 stars for now bc they are free legal service. Most lack the understanding that lawyers are not private investigators. Plus, if you want someone to assist you for FREE then do your work, put some effort into things. You get out what you put in & that's with most things in life. Don't expect anyone to care more about your life or what's going on in it, if you don't. Stay tuned ...I will be back to finish this review!

Even though buried up to their eyeballs with work they still take the time to ensure they respond and help as much as they can. THAT WAS THEN, this is now....huge letdown! Say one thing, then completely ignore calls, emails and in person visits. Really need to say what they mean rather than lie repeatedly to you and waste your time while you wait for a call back. Definitely need to follow through with a formal complaint. Truly sad that an outfit that deals with people in trauma has the audacity to further knock a victim down.

I came by today. The paralegal Teresa was rude and talked over me. Although I repeatedly asked about one issue, Teresa told me what I was there for (she was wrong) and tried to control what I was saying by overtalking.
She then ordered the lady volunteer to look up a case that I closed because what the lawyer wanted to do wasn't serving me. The lady let Teresa know she can"t do that. So Teresa doesn't know basic office policy.
But Bret, the lawyer was polite and respected my free will choice to close my case with them.
Teresa would best be suited to being a secuity guard, until the police force accepted her, in my humble opinion.

As far as the legal help you will receive is very good quality.
Although the intake is lacking. If I had not already been in contact with the office the intake operator would have convinced me I had no case. Ricky the intake operator needs to not give advice or state his opinion at all. Because he was totally wrong in what he was saying. As the lawyer has already started the case. I just needed to get signed up through intake.
Get past Ricky the intake operator and you will relieve very good help.

Im sure Joanna has wanted to fire me a few times. Im so indecisive but it comes with the situation im going thru plus much more. She's always been polite and politely tells me when I get off subject. With no funds for a divorce lawyer and my only way possible to get what I deserve Joanna has been there promptly answering questions. The only thing I didn't like i popped in the office i was in the area and just had a bad moment in court. She still came out and answered questions but the lady at the front desk acted like i had cooties. I understand the covid scare but I put on a mask she had one on and she still stood 10 feet away. Just made me uncomfortable but im glad it wasn't my first contact with them. Otherwise im not sure if with my situation i would of continued. I've been in customer service my whole life front desk was my best jobs it's just so different now but the front desk to me lays out the whole experience. I just felt so uncomfortable especially when not every was wearing a mask maybe front desk isn't for some people. Especially in the area where you work with different people. I left off one star for that experience otherwise Joanna is great

Stopped by for some help getting a home title transferred and they were slow to answer the door and quick to tell us that they can't help us.

They did finally give us a sheet with some generic referrals, reluctantly.

I cannot recommend this place at any price. As lazy as they seemed to be they can't be very reliable nor good at what they do.

This team of professionals is absolutely top of the line in my experience with them. Their expertise and support to guide me through my divorce is EXCELLENT. I would recommend them first when seeking out all legal cases. They confirmed what services they had to offer up front to me so I didn't have to take any unnecessary time off from my work schedule to wait and see if they could help. They are an income based service for those that have little or no funds and are seeking legal help.
