Wonderful advocate for the benefits section. Thank you so much you beautify human. The housing folks thought may as well be in the pockets of the landlords. They’ll spend more time arguing with you why they can’t help you rather then just trying to be a bit helpless. Really disappointing. The supervisors for the “mental health project” pretends to be compassionate. Phoney baloney .

Basically helping landlords continue to break the law. They can pick and choose cases and happy to throw someone under a bus because that person lacks resources. They are as bad as the landlords they allege to be fighting against. A Ms Lana Pelltier mcCrea focused on being patronizing over an administrative detail, basically insinuating I was lying to her. Then refused to take my case. Totally out of touch. Ms Pelltier, the court clerks won't file everything! Yoo hoo, I"M NOT ON NYSEF. LIKE YOU! They took the case of another litigant who had just dropped their private attorney. They just slipped right in and their case was taken. lucky them. Even though only 30% of tenants facing eviction get attorney representation, MFJ & Ms MCCrea took someone who could afford a private attorney- and not the person whose life was destroyed by landlord's bad acting. Yup, happy to throw me under the bus- because they do not understand cause and effect and I guess they don't really care. I am in the situation I'm in 100% because of what the landlord did, and what they didn't do- but MFJ is not interested in justice.Ms McCrea’s responses were practically sadistic. Saying “ I’ve paid my rent my entire life” , she’s quick to respond with: “except the last three years”, making sure to rub your face in what is basically the landlord exploiting the pandemic and waiting years to bring the non-payment case . Maybe Ms. McCrea thinks having to do a constructive eviction on a daily basis is fun or funny, like the landlord does. I can only speculate.
Basically this is a sham helping landlords get a pass to break the law and, keep breaking the law, and helping landlords make homeless the tenants they have been harassing for years and helping NYC get rid of poor people.! Not really what they allege their mission statement to be. I thought you cared Mr Darcy. Why don't you help support the voucher program expansion. Then people like me who fall through the cracks could get help and not thrown out of our homes. like this for instance: INDEX NO. 450563/2024

I’m so thankful for their quick response, intake process and being able to speak to a lawyer given how short staffed all the free legal service providers are right now. After you explain in detail all the information related to the case that you know you have, the next 20 minutes of the call is them asking you very personal information that has nothing to do with the case.

They just collect all of your information to pass it on to their funders to get funding and money off of you without doing anything for you.

Reading most of these reviews are unbelievable. I must start off by saying, Miss Trisha Sobha is one of the most attentive, patient, knowledgeable, intelligent, professional, detail, orientated and willing to learn Lawyer I have ever came across.
My husband and I have been working with Miss since late 2021, ever since Miss Sobha took our case, it has always been progressive and we always get a positive feedback. In this country undocumented, unable to work legally no identification etc..
To make a long story short, Miss Sobha has successfully Handed us or work authorization documents, and I must say I never doubted her.
My husband and I just want to take the time out to give Miss Sobha a big thank you if it wasn’t for her, we would not be privileged to obtain such documentation. Words can’t express the way How we feel in this very moment .
