I've been forced to deal with these attorneys through Legal Shield but, without fail, I always end up finding a different attorney because of how unprofessional this group is. I've asked for representation for my divorce and all I as given was a group of documents and told to fill them out and file them myself. Today, I asked for representation for excessive fees from my HOA. The lady who spoke to me was immediately rude and clearly didn't have time for me as she kept cutting me off when I spoke. She didn't answer or address my concerns regarding the excessive fees, in fact, it was like she didn't hear me say it multiple times. And, as always, I was forced to find a different attorney. I'm cancelling Legal Shield, it's an absolute waste of money, I never was even able to get my will updated and never received a return call about that either. If you want someone to listen to you and have time for you, do not call Davis Miles, PLLC, they can't be bothered. On a side note, Carolyn in customer service is a delight and the only good thing I can really say about this group.

No one called back or responded to messages. They seem more concerned about their contract with Legal Shield than obtaining independent clients. Would not recommend.

Getting divorced? Go anywhere else or self represent vs Davis miles. Had them for a year and worst company. Was almost sanctioned due to their negligence. Pay for a lot for no real representation. Save yourself now and please don't sign with them. I wish someone had told me before I found them. I even had to layout court info for the lawyer because she knew so little about my case each time. Paid 30k to literally go backwards with my case. Find a competent lawyer elsewhere.

Warning. If you want to be strung along and milked for every dollar you have with no resolution to your case then hire this firm. Horrible communication. Unjustifiable charges. Drawn out process on their end. Not the courts. Do yourself a favor and hire literally any other firm.

I recently ran into an enormous problem with licensing my 10bed assisted living. Although I had no fault in the matter (previous tenant trying to get revenge on the landlord), as the current operator/owner of the business everything would have fallen on me, which would have been extremely expensive and detrimental to my business and future in the industry. The second I found out about what was happening behind my back I IMMEDIATELY contacted attorney Jenn Wassermann. Everyone I knew recommended her to be the absolute best person to help. I can honestly say Jenn went above and beyond, although she mentioned she was extremely booked with time sensitive matters. It felt like I was her only client. I met with her the day after I contacted her and did a full consultation. I quickly realized that if there was any hope to save my business and reputation, it would be with her help. I wasted no time retaining her. The entire process was as smooth as could be. I was updated daily and Jenn did an amazing job giving me peace of mind and talking me through my options. Despite Jenn's calendar I felt like my problems were top of her list. She resolved my issue in a matter of weeks!!!! I came out on top, having no fault. I am now licensed and operating without any issues. To say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jenn, is an understatement, I will say if you want someone that is there FOR YOU, that genuinely cares for your case and is invested directly, than you don't have any other option but to hire Jenn. I am forever grateful for what she did for me and my business. I know without a doubt had it not been for her my situation would have had the absolute worst outcome.

Horrible representation in family law. Avoid at all costs! All they cared about was getting money from me. Legal shield referral with this firm is a total flop. My lawyer Josepha and Mr Gardner failed to know me as a client and failed to represent me adequately in court over child custody and child support. Josepha failed to submit paperwork to the court which prolonged my case two months later increasing my bill another 3k! She let the other lawyer walk all over her in court like she was a newbie. She let the opposing lawyer run the court room without any type of objections. I was told, we’ll give you a discount/not charge you for this or that and nope, still got charged. I called to complain to Mr Gardner, no help there. All they care about is money. When going to a payment plan for the additional 3k+ they said I owed, they tagged on interest + fees! I was polite/courteous to them about this and no matter what I had to say, in the end I was only a paycheck. This is how they treat their clients. Stay away, trust me. Especially, after paying more than 11k for poor representation. Your firm should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of hard working people. Better business bureau here we come.
