After months of court dates which mostly consisted of turning down settlement proposals that all required that I plea guilty when both the accuser and I clearly knew that the accusations were false, I was finally getting my day in court to tell my side. I knew that as long as whoever would have the authority to make the final judgement I should be ok. What I didn't anticipate was the navy seal equivalent in law of an attorney that was fighting my case with me. Mr. Thornley was able to pick apart every single part of my accuser's testimony that once brought to light it was clear to everyone that things being said weren't physically possible or just bottom line absurd and he figured all of these things out without me having to say a word to him about it. He also gave me great advice before the hearing began and suggested I take notes on everything that I considered important so I noted down as much as I could about what was being fabricated since it was almost everything I was hearing. He also made sure to ask me questions that helped clarify what I was trying to communicate after the prosecutor attempted to twist what I was saying but, thanks to my attorney, was unsuccessful. In the end the judge concluded quickly that after hearing the case she found me not guilty and freed me of the charge. I would recommend Mr. Thornley to anyone I care about and would definitely seek out his representation if I find myself in another unfair situation such as this one was. I thank God for putting him in my path for he takes pride in his work and although a bit of a quiet guy, pays attention to every detail, cares about his clients, and is always kind and respectful yet relentless when it comes to his craft. Hello, my name is Troy Meiss and am a 53 year old male who unfortunately got a DUI almost exactly 1 year ago. I was appointed to Mr. Thornley through a judge and never having been through this it was definitely a little scary and challenging. I only met Mr. Thornley one time at a court hearing but he was absolutely helpful, kind, and very considerate and I felt very blessed to have been assigned to this wonderful lawyer. Having said that, I happened to have had many conversations with a woman named Tatum who works in his office. I absolutely could not have asked for someone more helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and caring! I probably have had at least 10 conversations with Tatum over the past year and she personally has made this challenging situation more bearable than I ever could have imagined. She is literally one of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever dealt with over the phone in my 53 years of being alive! I honestly don't believe that she could have been more helpful and her kindness has been immeasurable. I hope that you don't have to go through a situation like this but if you do I hope and pray that you get to deal with someone as half as wonderful as Tatum has been. This world is much better with people like Taum in it! I could probably go on but words don't really do justice to someone as kind and helpful as she has been. He is a bad unprofessional attorney. Stay away at all cost he just took my money and did nothing. He made charges up to charge me money even the the judge told him there is no charges to expunge. So he filled again judge told him again there's no charges to expunge a 2nd time.
