My experience at Person-to-Person has been so heart warming. The assistance and support they offer me as a single mother of 2, has been a blessing. To others it might not be much, but for me, it’s helped remove weight off my shoulders. I would like to personally thank Lorena, for going above and beyond for her assistance. Her unconditional support and thorough communication has truly made everything possible! Thank you Person-to-Person for your services and all you do for the community!

I met with Lorena and she was so helpful with everything! She gave me baby clothes, diapers for both of my children, and even signed me up for food and upcoming events like the Coat Drive! I’m very thankful for all of the help I received and how friendly every one was!

Great help but the workers/volunteers constantly look down at us trying to receive help. Make rude comments, giving mean looks, ect. If you dont want to actually genuinely help why work/ volunteer there? Makes no sense

Dedicated to helping people in need. I've been donating to them since the early 1990s. Clothing, basic cooking utensils, kids books.

Very good services for the needy, but they volunteers/workers humiliate and single out people for no good reason. Living through a winter without proper clothing is rough, and I was going every month for clothing for myself and my infant son. I filled up two bags, and I brought my own, which had been suggested. The worker brought me to the front where the other volunteers were working, and verbally announced that “I was an example of what not to do.” Her implications that I was doing something wrong were out of line, and the way that it was stated was embarrassing, insensitive and unnecessary. I have since moved from CT, and I’m now involved with an organization that is friendly, compassionate, and treats everyone equally and respectfully.

Went to drop off donations: baby clothes. Was told they were only accepting winter jackets at the moment. However they were nice enough to accept my baby clothes since I was already there.
I know they are always in need for size 5 diapers though.
