Communication with the law office was difficult. I could not trust that they would follow through with anything that we discussed. The stress dealing with the office and lack of communication was more stressful than my divorce. When I tried to discuss the poor communications and lack of follow through they BLAMED ME. When I communicated to Amanda about the poor communication she withdrew from my case leaving me without an attorney at the end of my divorce this was after collecting more than $10,000 from me. It truly felt like I was being abused by this office. They took no responsibility for their poor communication and follow through. The only thing that was efficient was their billing and collecting their money.
I was traumatized when they BLAMED ME for their poor communication, follow through and poor service.

Amanda Taylor made the process very very fast and easy. Very easy to talk to too and answered all my questions I had to ask. She was amazing and definitely recommend her to anyone who needs an Attorney.

This lawyer is a fraud! She charged me $2,000 as a “flat rate” to get my child support case re evaluated. She promised that the $2,000 would cover direct contact with her via email and calls unlimited. Never did she send me emails or phone calls to follow up. The first couple of months I only heard from her assistants. After I turned in all of the documents I had to sign I never heard back from anyone in that office. I would only receive invoices attempting to charge me more money, which was very confusing because I was supposed to be a flat rate. When I contacted the office about the invoices they told me to disregard the invoices. I finally spoke to Amanda, highly concerned about my case and where it was going and she told me not to worry, all I needed to do is get one last paper notarized and we could start the process. I got the document notarized and sent it over right away, and an assistant at her office called me to ask for $250 more to send in the notarized document to court. I couldn’t believe they where asking for more money after this lawyer has literally done absolutely nothing for my case! After that phone call I have still not received any follow up from Amanda. Do Not Waste your money on her she will take your money and do nothing for you!

Amanda is an outstanding attorney. She has gone above and beyond to help with my child custody case! And even though I am miles and miles away, she still made me feel at ease by being available at any time and doing even more than she said she would. She is very knowledgeable, was very patient and understanding during this process. We are blessed to have Amanda and her staff make a difference and fight for a childs well being.

Unless you have money to throw away, DO NOT hire Amanda as your attorney. The case was settled through mediation, never even went to court. For the little bit Amanda did and the little time spent on this particular case, $5,000 didn’t suffice, according to her (she actually wants more money from us). This is the third time we feel we’ve been mislead by Amanda. Seek your legal matters elsewhere - there are a lot of selfless attorneys in Yuma who will help you without draining your bank account. FYI... Janet Metcalf was kind enough to refund half my money when a similar incident occurred between my ex-husband and me, and she actually put a lot of time and work into our case. Michael Smith is an AMAZING lawyer! Sonja Ramirez does wonderful work... and the list goes on.

It will be two years since my initial review of our experience with the Law Office of Amanda Taylor (not sure why Google is saying 1 year-maybe it’ll change when it hits 2). It brings me great pleasure to write this follow up review, as Amanda’s office has not seized to keep in touch with our family throughout this entire time. We live out of state and Amanda has been helping us despite the difference in time and distance. When we call her office, we are greeted as old friends rather than nuisance past clients. Amanda has even taken the time to guide our family via phone conferences when we’ve met with our present lawyer in order to keep us up to par in both states. She has also helped us take care of annual reports with the Az court and even expedited services for us. What could have become a messy, tedious process as we deal with two jurisdictions, has instead gone smoothly thanks to Amanda and her hard working staff. Although our battle continues elsewhere, it brings my family peace of mind in knowing that we have trustworthy and loyal representation in our state of origin thanks to Amanda. Our family couldn’t be in better hands.

I'm writing this review because I want our community to be aware of how blessed we are to have the services and expertise of an attorney like Amanda Taylor available to us. Our case was a difficult and unique one because we live out of state and the well being of little children was at risk. I had consultations with a few lawyers prior to speaking with Ms. Taylor and they were all very pessimistic and hesitant to even attempt our case. They also went straight to quoting us their prices and never showed any sense of concern for the children for whom we were fighting. Right when I was about to throw in the towel, I came across Ms. Taylor's law office and she became instantly concerned and intrigued by the challenge that our situation presented. Her assistants immediately started up the paperwork to begin the guardianship case and they worked tirelessly to get information to and from the two states. They were very easy to get ahold of and it soon began to feel like we were working toward a common goal and that her and the staff were professionally and emotionally invested in helping us win. While in court, Amanda was collected, knowledgeable, tenacious and in sync with my intentions. She was bold when needed and was quick to catch inconsistencies as well as in quoting statutes. In the end, the Law Office of Amanda Taylor got us guardianship of our three little nieces despite the odds being stacked against us. I will be forever grateful to those women for working so hard to get my nieces into a safe place. You can't go wrong with Amanda and her staff- they are hard working, sharp, ambitious and have a genuine passion for what they do.

Amanda Taylor , is the most compassionate attorney I have ever known . She is professional, and passionate about her work with an understanding of women’s concerns and needs struggling with divorce issues. Hopefully I will never need her services , but if I ever did this would be the attorney that I would choose. I know that she will take good care of my very dear friend and do an awesome job .
