I was worried because I was getting to an age that I needed the piece of mind in knowing that my loved ones would be able to have what I wanted when I am no longer able to be there. Blake was amazing at explaining the legal terms and methods of a properly planned estate and trust. He patiently gave me the time I needed in order to understand the options available, and explained how to close any loopholes so that I need not worry ever again. He definitely earned the 5 stars I’ve rated him in this review. Do not hesitate to contact him. You’ll see it for yourself.

Poor communication and whenever we finally got in contact with Blake West, he has excuses. We have been attempting to get our situation settled for almost a year now, we are a few weeks shy of one year. A situation that all the family is agreeing upon. Not only is there no communication, the lack of work that has been completed on his part in a year is inexcusable. If you have read this far, I am not one to give out 1 star reviews and always give more than enough grace. However, a year is more than enough grace.
Edited to add: We were finally able to complete our process. Also, there are reviews on Yelp that had the same issues as I had described.

Does not return calls. I’ve call over 20 times leaving messages with his answering service.
Not once has he contacted me to update me on my paid business with him.
Over 2 months now!!
This has to do with a special needs person, my daughter !!! that cannot make decisions for herself and he has yet to even have considered my anxiety about getting this done for her. Poor poor poor lawyer/client communication!!
And by no means does he seem to busy for a return call…..I know that he has been to a tournament for basketball in Birimingham, been on a cruise, had his picture in the paper due to the disruption at the tournament game in Birmingham , so it’s more leisure time for him then to make a 10 second phone call to me. !!!

I have waited three and a half years for him to handle my brother’s case with transferring guardianship. He drafted the paperwork, helped some with Medicaid inquiry, and then nothing. I don’t know how to get in touch with him. He has not returned multiple emails or phone calls. I don’t know what else to do.

I have gotten to know Elizabeth Bonner at C. Blake West, over the last year. Each and every week, I hear her talk about different situations that could happen in one's life and the serious repercussions if you don't have a plan in place. As a business owner, homeowner, caregiver, you need a plan. Similar to insurance, you hope you never need it, but you're glad you do, if something happens! Elizabeth is extremely knowledgeable, explains things in a way that anybody can understand, is incredibly nice and a fabulous person to know. I recently had a real estate deal and C. Blake West represented my client's Medicaid needs. A wonderful, stress-free experience! I look forward to her helping my family with POA's and medical directives, etc. She is truly worth the call.
