Oh its nothing like being welcomed with a smile(now days this is the hardest to find) She was very nice & explained to us how to fill out everything correctly. I contacted this company believing the reviews and that they were ethical. But I was treated unethically and defrauded $125 for bogus, made up charges. In May, I called Valencia D. Walker - Hands On Concierge, to inquire about hiring their process server services. I was given the prices and decided to pay $225 to complete 3 process server services which were itemized on my invoice:
1. To make 3 attempts to serve the person - $75
2. To go to the courts to pickup and drop off the filing documents - $45
3. To file the documents with the county clerk - $105

As it turned out, after I’d paid for the services, I discovered I may not need the services after all and contacted Ms Walker to let her know via voicemail. On the following Monday we spoke and she informed me she’d received my message and she had not performed the services. We discussed the situation that involved a tenant who was behind on rent and I decided to let her keep the money for the time being to ensure the situation was completely resolved before getting reimbursed. She told me to just let her know what I wanted to do, At no time was I told that if I did not allow her to conduct the services that processing, “counseling”, or any fees would be deducted. I was told I would get my money back.

In August, the tenant moved and I called to get my refund. Although NO SERVICES had been provided, and none of this had been discussed, Ms Walker said I would be refunded $100 with $125 being withheld because of her PayPal processing fees when I paid her and when she refunded me, and because of her counseling me. None of this was included as services or fees on my invoice.
When I asked her how much the processing fees were, she didn’t know. And when I asked what counseling she was talking about she said she talked to me 2-3 times. As I recall we spoke three times - the 1st call to inquire, the 2nd to ensure she knew I wouldn’t need the service, and the 3rd to request my refund.

This is not only unethical, but also a misrepresentation of what I hired and paid her to do. This is a fraudulent business practice to get money, in my opinion, and is tantamount to theft. I was never told nor did I hire or pay her for PayPal processing or counseling services. As any customer would, I asked questions and explained the need. Neither are on the invoice she sent me. So why was I not fully reimbursed for the services I did pay for that I did not use? I want a full reimbursement of the $125 that was fraudulently withheld to be reimbursed immediately.
