Mr. Rea,
I never agreed to fraudulent charges and deception. Now that you have falsely filed a frivolous suit against me, I will now be moving forward with my complaints to the Missouri Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel and the Better Business Bureau.

Mr. Rea represented my case several years ago in 2019, and this man is still sending me an erroneous billing statement over 5 years later. Yes, you read that right… 5 years later for a bill that I do not owe. Mr. Rea was extremely incompetent, disrespectful, arrogant, and explicitly overcharged me for work done on my case. I paid Mr. Rea $3,500 which more than covered the work performed. However, this delusional man is still claiming that I owe him an additional $3,370. Mr. Rea deceived me several times, handled my case incompetently, and had the blatant audacity to fraudulently charge me. This attorney even went so far as to charge me for things that we did not discuss or agree to. For example, Mr. Rea filed a Parenting Plan and Form 14 that we never discussed and then blindly charged me for doing so. He proceeded to file this bogus Parenting Plan and Form 14, along with several additional documents on the same day of his initiated withdraw from my case. When he initially advised me of his intent to withdraw, he made absolutely no mention of these documents that he blindly charged me for. I did not learn of these filings and charges until I reviewed the docket entries on MO Casenet and received his final billing statement. Besides this, Mr. Rea has also threatened to sue me on several occasions if I do not pay him. He used attorney jargon and threats to sue me in a frivolous attempt to intimidate me into paying him. Of course his attempts were in vain, as I will not be paying this lawyer anything, whatsoever. My experience with this attorney was costly and regretful. I have all of these allegations in writing, I am well prepared and I’m currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Missouri Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel and the Better Business Bureau. I would strongly encourage anyone who may be considering this attorney to think twice and seek other counsel. Happy Holidays 😊
