I really canāt say enough nice things about Henry, both as an attorney and as a person. Without divulging too many specific details about my case, Henry and I recently concluded a very nasty dispute in which I had been embroiled for several years. Driven entirely by spite, the opposing side did everything they could to deliberately drag out the ordeal for as long as possible. Naturally, it was a very frustrating and embittering experience to put it mildly and politely. It very much left me feeling as though I were in a Kafka novel, and utterly disillusioned with the entire legal system.
That all being said though, Henry was nothing short of fantastic: Equal parts consummate professional and long-suffering agony aunt, as he allowed me to vent (more like rant and rave at times) ad nauseam while always acting as the cooler head and the gentle voice of reason. He talked me out of saying and doing some very rash and foolish things on more than one occasion along the way that would have only created more problems and prolonged the case even further.
Like most of us who have had only limited (if any) dealings with lawyers, I began my search for one at the beginning of this dispute with a lot of preconceived notions; most of which were overwhelmingly negative. Actually, Iām rather ashamed to admit now that they were quite unfair, generalizing and ignorant. However, both Henry as well as the attorneys who helped me along the way and/or referred me to him proved just how wrong I was, as they all earned my respect, confidence, trust and admiration.
Anyway, some noteworthy specifics about Henry:
- Heās very patient. Iām far from the easiest person in the world to get along with, much less work alongside. In fact, I can be quite difficult and inflexible at times, especially when it involves something I feel particularly strongly about. The fact that he didnāt tell me to find someone else long ago is a testament to his patience.
- He is most accommodating. Henry was always very generous with his time, and reasonable with his rates. Heās definitely not the type to just take your money, ignore your calls and go through the motions. Itās obvious that he cares about his clients and the problems they bring to him.
- He is very articulate, and has an incredible gift for communication. He has a unique way of conveying his point in a clear and cogent manner that unfortunately isnāt too common in todayās world anymore. He is fiercely intelligent (almost to point of being intimidatingly so), while still remaining very personable, relatable and grounded. Heās very easy to talk to, can converse fluidly over a wide range of topics, and never makes you feel as though heās patronizing or talking down to you.
- He's very impressive, especially for a young man of his age. Henry has much of the flair and exuberance of youth, mixed with the professionalism, level-headedness, precision and meticulous attention to detail of a seasoned veteran. He clearly has a passion for what he does.
At this point, Iām probably at risk of this review reading like Iām trying to write him a love song, so I better cut it short. In all seriousness though, it was a pleasure working with Henry, even if the circumstances were less than pleasurable. Precious few outside of my immediate inner circle have my complete trust, but I now consider him to be one of them. If you are in the midst of a dispute and have not yet retained an attorney, or if you foresee trouble in the future, he comes highly recommended. You will be in good hands.
