Jace is very empathetic. He understands that divorce and child support issues are stressful, and he is able to remain positive and put your mind at ease. He puts emphasis on the best interest of the child and how things will look after the proceedings are over. if you want to get back at your spouse and take your children away, he probably isn’t what you’re looking for. That said, in my situation all options had been explored and the facts warranted litigation, he was an excellent advocate in the courtroom.. I have recommended him to several close friends.

Diana and Jace are the best team in Kansas City Family Law. I am amazed by the ability of Jace to keep his clients focused on "the now". Not only his clients yet the Judicial System. Jace and Diana's focus is on the family not the "argument" which so often prevails, unfortunately. Diana is 100% responsive and always available. Jace will tell you how he sees it and many in this field will "Sugar Coat" the situation. I so appreciate finding this Firm to represent me and I would 100% recommend their services!

Jace McClasky acted as a mediator for our divorce. He and the staff are professional and very empathetic when working with you on your issues. I highly recommend them and choosing meditation over the traditional divorce option which can be quite adversarial.

DO NOT WORK WITH SHEA STEVENS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN AND TIME WASTED.

I paid Shea Stevens $600 through her "DIY Divorce KC" group to handle my divorce. As soon as I turned in all the paperwork and the invoice was paid, she stopped responding to my calls or emails. I do NOT recommend going through this poor excuse for a lawyer, unless you want to have your money taken for nothing.

If you look up "DIY Divorce KC" on Google maps you'll see I'm not the only one with this experience, and Shea Stevens seems to have closed up shop and moved onto a different firm with no attempts to even reach out to past clients whose money she stole.

Shea Stevens, you should be ashamed of yourself. I came to you hoping to put an end to an extremely difficult and painful time in my life. Thanks to your thievery and neglect, I haven't been able to close off this chapter of my life. You're a fraud, a thief, and a terrible human being.
