Yet another lawyer perpetuating intimate partner violence via the family court system. The court appointed Trina as a guardian ad litem in my divorce case. When I advocated for my child and myself against my abusive, drug addict ex husband, Trina told me I needed to "grieve the loss of control." Funny, she removed herself from the case shortly after due to how my ex was treating her. You couldn't just grieve the loss of control then?

If you'd like an update, I was right about everything and I have sole custody now. I hope you feel great about the fact that you profited off of putting my child in danger.

I wanted to move away from my traumas of the past and understand what happened to me. But not let it consume my every thought. I heard about personal coaching. I contacted Trina Nudson and met with her for a session. It started with a meditation, which brought me to tears. Simple meditation brought me to tears. Trina said we have to learn how to move on from the past because we cannot change the past, but let’s see how the past has made us into the person we are today. Trina has made me think of everything in a different light. People have told me I don’t worry when you get upset with me because I know you will get over it quickly, but Trina helped me see. Did I get over it, or did I outwardly show that I did, but the resentment was still there? Believe me when I say the resentment was still there. Carrying it around like in every little thing that happened or was said made the resentment made it get bigger and bigger and bigger.
I can’t tell you how much coaching has changed my life in four sessions, but I can tell you is that Trina is excellent In helping you see things With a different perspective. I know that when I leave there, I will feel my mind will be lighter, more transparent, and more open to the ones around me and myself; I believe that everyone could use a personal coach. We work out to keep our bodies healthy and have no problem getting an individual coach to help us. Still, what about our minds? Try it. I promise you it will change your life for the better.

Trina is not advocating at all for the children. my brother and I are currently not seeing our "father" for multiple reasons. she is pushing me to have family therapy with my "father" that now has a investigation against him for touching me. doesnt sound like she's advocating for me at all. and from all that I know, I have a right with what I say. and I will be 16 soon, age a consent. and I’m telling you right now, i want nothing to do with my "father". does this sound like a child advocate to you?

It’s noteworthy that the poor reviews for these women don’t include any detail about the reviewers’ experiences. I suspect some of them may be friends or family of parents who were unhappy with the outcome of their custody conflicts. It is undeniably a traumatic and painful experience for many families to have to deal with conflict over children. In my many years of experience with Trina and her staff, I have found them to be capable, compassionate, and honest in their genuine desires to help families navigate difficult situations.

Ann Marie Harris please note that daily I receive collections calls. Due to your information that it is not your job to enforce court orders. I am harassed daily and intimidated because I divorced an attorney in Johnson County. Per court order, I paid my court ordered medical reimbursement directly for surgery bills for my child. You asked for documentation of violations of court orders by my ex, the attorney, which was provided, and did nothing. You then suggested the Layne Project and claimed to not be affiliated but actually Trina, the supervising attorney for My Child Advocate, is one of the originators of the Layne Project. Beware anyone dealing with a corrupt Johnson lCounty Family Court recommendation.

No one likes dealing with family court or paying for attorneys but over the years I never felt more comfortable with an attorney to represent my family than I did with dealing with Ann Marie through My Child Advocate. Always felt like pricing was more than fair and very comfortable with communication and the work being done.

They truly try their best to keep the childs best interests and even though going through a battle with an ex is hard both parents have rights. And the child needs both. Thank you my child advocate for helping me see that.
