I'm only simply giving a 3 cause everything was resolved 50/50. Try making an appointment and instead of being told they aren't free I'm told it's "kinda pointless" and proceeded to not even want an appointment made and went as far to send me a letter saying it's disrespectful to their time for me to not show which i understand from a buisness perspective. I will say it's disrespectful to the two weeks I got pushed out cause you decided my first call wasn't worth your time as a receptionist. They're very personable/ nice people fact is my daughters mother lawyer got to lay out more for stuff and it was all agreeable. Wasn't gonna leave a review till I got a letter the day AFTER court is settled. Instead of snail mail why don't you actually call people or use an email In which I had tried a few times and gotten nothing. Don't use unless you're getting a divorce done or simple stuff. Literally 0 communication when I had sent a email explaining why I was unable to be there.
Better off using a busy lawyer who will properly rep you as I didn't feel represented just cushioned not self defending in which I could've done and gotten the same results.

There is an absolute perfect reason this law firm has 2.3 stars. They take no proactive measures for their clients and are completely reactive. They won't pick up a phone to call you and when they do want something from you they'll just upload it to their online system which doesn't send out a notification till hours and hours later but uses terms like "imperative that we speak to you". Then when you point out the lack of customer service skills they get offended instead of trying to rectify the situation. The stars tell you all you need to know. The reviews are not from clients that Matthew Dunns team beat in court, it's from their own clients...

If I could leave a zero I would. Nothing but an expensive secretary and courier service and no substance when it comes to legal representation or seeking to understand what the client wants. to top it all, Matt Dunn had the nerve to tell me he provided excellent service when I told him he misrepresented me.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Never calls back, never emails back. When you do finally get ahold of them for a meeting it truly just feels like he is trying to rush you right back out the door. Generally does not care about your situation or what’s in your child’s best interest. Would rather represent myself than EVER use these people again!

Only left the star to comment on how absolutely worthless this firm is. Poplaski was who represented me and he was too busy sitting there saying yes your honor if it pleases your honor to be my voice even after I made it clear I don't care about the win I care about the voice and fight. As I read in another 20 reviews they only care till they get your retainer then even when you do the work for them they won't help you even when you spell it out for them they wont. I even stood beside them for a year to give them more chances and still couldn't get help. Then I fired him the very next appearance I represented myself and did more in 15 minutes then he did for $4000 and after 14 months. The very thing he said he couldn't get me i got instantly. Run for your life if yoyr even thinking about it.

Lawyer had bias. Refuse to file petitions on my case I had to file all the paperwork myself. Did not update me on my case did not call me before court dates. I had to fire them and represent myself.

I went to Attorney Dunn mainly for information about my rights in our marital dispute. I can not express how much I appreciated his help in explaining legal terms and things I did not know. I feel I was sent to him by my God, he gave me suggestions which helped me work to save our marriage and hopefully my husband and I will be able to live happily ever after. Thank you Attorney Dunn for your advise and patience.

I moved to the Watertown area after being stationed at Fort Drum. Within a week of being in the area I received a traffic ticket for failure to safely change lanes because I did not signal while merging on the highway. I called Poplaski and Dunn for a consultation and asked if I could simply talk over the phone, the receptionist answering the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. She offered to schedule a phone call a week from the day i called and I asked if I could do it sooner by any chance and in a rude and sarcastic tone, she responded with, "nope, good luck". That is not how anyone professional adult responds when a potential client calls their respective place of business.
