Tobey Forney was very thorough and took her time to explain all of our estate planning options. Through the course of her guidance, she brings up a number of things that aren't intuitive or obvious when it comes to planning what happens in the case of your death. The end product and service that we received went well beyond a basic will. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family.

Working with Tobey Forney on designing and executing our trust was an excellent investment. She made the process really clear and easy to understand, which says a lot because while me and my husband are both well-educated, the legal terminology can be quite challenging to wrap our heads around. Tobey hosts an exploratory session to help you determine whether or not a will or trust best meets your goals, then works with you to design and execute the plan. She then provides clear instructions on things like funding your trust, where to store your trust portfolio, and will send out a note on your behalf to those you designate for roles like guardianship of your children. And the cherry on top is that does a video interview where you can talk about the values you want your children to inherit, which was really special. I feel so much more confident in my day-to-day knowing that if something were to happen to me and my husband, our assets would be handled without having to go through the head (and heart) ache of probate. We consider this to be a gift to our family! I highly recommend Forney Law to help you get your affairs in proper order!

Tobey Forney did a great job updating our estate plan. She reviewed the 20 year old family trust we had established when our kids were young and moved us into a streamlined plan that reflects the current laws and will be much simpler to implement. We can sleep easy at night knowing that this is in place. Tobey also hosts seminars periodically on topics related to estate planning and is very personable and easy to work with.
