This attorney spent a lot of time talking to my husband giving him different ideas on how to work his case. Including suggesting that he and I change our religion which we both found offensive. Even so, we were willing to work with her as she came recommended. Finally, she called and told him that she did not see any option for him which was fine with me. A few days later, she offered him another avenue with a I-212. When we read the fee agreement, we had some questions which were answered vaguely. Even so, my husband decided to sign the agreement (I was very hesitant at that point), but he felt he could trust her. After going through all of that and signing the retainer Ms. Gill rejected my husband's case. Just to note - we have paid her for consulting with us, and we knew that working with her was a long shot. I just feel like this last 2 weeks she waisted valuable time my husband could have spent finding a more compassionate attorney.

I had been working with this attorney for some years in the past to renew my DACA. This past year I decided to go a different route with renewing my DACA. The reason being that communication with this office has been horrible these last couple of years. I would call multiple times a day/week to try to schedule a consultation or to ask a question and they would not answer. If they did answer they would say they’d call me back and would not. I would again have to call back for a follow up and wait for them to answer my call. I even emailed them to let them know I was trying to contact them. I had a consultation to try to begin the PIP process or go forward with a different process and I believe they forgot that I even had an appointment. They didn’t email me to confirm the appointment or call me ahead of time to get everything set up. I was waiting with my husband for them at the allotted time and they never called. I had to call and email them asking if it was still going to happen and of course they didn’t answer but I did leave a voicemail and they called shortly after. The attorney didn’t seem to know who I was or my current status even though I specified I was her client for some years before when I made the appointment. She was very rude to my husband and came off very condescending and spoke to us as if we were dense when we asked questions. Towards the end she was rushing us because she had another client waiting. Our 1 hour appointment ended up being 30 minutes. We decided not to go with her because of this mainly and the lack of communication. Another issue I had with her that has yet to be resolved is that when I went to renew my DACA I needed a copy of my previous renewal so I requested that copy with them. Again they told me they had to wait for the attorney to get that for me but they did not deny giving it to me. I’m still waiting for those documents to say the least. I requested them back in July. I tried calling and emailing to follow up and nothing. I even emailed an old assistant they had that was a good communicator but I suppose she no longer works there because the email is disabled. I do not recommend this firm and I’m disappointed because I previously have sent people here before.

Edit because I can’t reply to the response provided by the attorney. I never got the DACA documents emailed to me. I did request the DACA approval because I needed it for something else, and that, I did receive. However, I had to dig and find my very first DACA application I sent and use that to renew it this year because I wasn’t able to obtain the renewal from the firm. If it was sent, for some reason I did not receive it on my end.

Not happy with this law firm my husband received the approval letter Jan 30, 2018.Send all my paper work that was required and have been calling the office to get help in regards to my husband case and have not received any help from them. There were also some other issues the paper work was never mailed out to immigration since there old staff never sent them and when I look at my husbands case on the National visa is saying that we have never sent the fees and that was suppose to be taken care off by the law firm! Not happy and disappointment since this was referred to us by a close friend.
