Did a 1/2 day wade guide with Richard. He took care of us completely. Always available, taught me a lot about the in and outs of the sport. He was a great technician with not only casting techniques but what to look for in what’s working. Had a great experience and will be back again later this summer.

Eagle River Outfitters provided an awesome experience. Our guide Rick was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us as beginners. I have been fly fishing for a few year and it was the first time for my father-in-law. We caught 12 fish between the two of us despite the water levels from the Spring thaw. I would go back to ERO and request Rick as a guide in a heartbeat.

Had a great time with our guide, Dave, from Eagle River Outfitters. Very knowledgable and personable, like fishing with a buddy. Took us to a couple of beautiful spots. Learned a lot. Heck, we even caught some fish - rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. Lotsa photos. Very memorable time. I'd do it again and would recommend Dave and Eagle River Outfitters with confidence. Thanks Dave! We had a blast.

We had a bucket list experience with Dave! He made us feel so welcome we felt like we’ve known him for years. The river was high and fast due to the runoff but Dave moved us around until we started catching fish. He is a true professional fly fishing guide in Colorado. He taught us so much in our 4 hour fishing trip. We were so happy with our experience and can’t wait to come back!

Dave took us out fishing this morning, and he put us on the fish! What a great way to spend the morning! Plenty of rainbows and a couple brown trout. The equipment he provided was in good shape and the waders were nice! I would 100% recommend Eagle River Outfitters to anyone wanting to get out on the river!

I had such a fun time today with my guide Rachel!!!! I highly recommend this!! It was my first time fly fishing and honestly the 4 hours flew by because I was having so much fun!! Not only did she provide everything I needed to get into the river (and stay dry), but she was so patient with me as she taught me the fine art of fly fishing. The river was picturesque and I couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!!

I had a great morning with Rachel this week fishing the Eagle River. She was an excellent teacher and made the whole experience very enjoyable! We were able to get quite a few trout on the line and several in the net. Thanks for showing me some new techniques….cant wait to return!
