The line can get long but moves relatively fast. You will see from the photos where we began and it took about 75 mins to get back into the United States. The officials were kind and helpful but the situation there is sad

U.S. citizens must present a valid U.S. passport book or card, in addition to an entry permit (Forma Migratoria Multiple or FMM) issued by Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM). Travelers should be sure to enter Mexico with valid proof of automobile registration, even if remaining in the border zone.

The wait to enter Mexico is usually 10-15 minutes During rush hour, it may take up to 25 minutes. Late at night and in the early hours of the morning, there is often no line at all. The wait to cross back into the U.S. on foot is usually 60-70 minutes on average.

Most people simply park their cars in Nogales (Arizona) and walk across the border into Mexico. Typically, you won't even notice any border police on the Mexican side of the border so entrance into the city is fairly easy

The US/Mexico Border is a sight to see for sure, especially if you are already visiting Tucson and the Tubac areas. As expected, the traffic around here can be absolute pandemonium (not as hectic as Tijuana though). If you want to get out of the car and see if briefly you can park free at the nearby Burger King or McDonalds and it is a quick walk from there.

The first week in 2023 Drove down the awinspiring colorado river from londen bridge on a Saturday night. It is first time crossing with my new documents nogalis 24hr Went to the grocery bought a snicker candy bar and three bananas 88 cents. I was told to go to secondary. The border patrol were very professional after some time i was introduced to a pretty shepherd. Did bark or bite.

The wait for me on a Saturday was less than 15 minutes and the border guard was easy going.

The best CBP officers in the country. I went there to update my I-94 as I got a new passport and got it done in an hour even though it was super crowded. The officers were very helpful, empathetic and treated me with respect.

The permit office is open 24/7 and doesn’t have office hours as some other reviewer mentioned below. I went at 6.30 PM and got out 7.30..

They were reasonably polite while they violated my rights and privacy. They took my phone and searched my car while I was locked in a detention room. It had a TV that only seemed to play advertisements for pharmaceutical products. The room resembles more of a cage or a jail than a waiting room.
