I haven’t stayed in a Best Western in years. I assumed it would be serviceable but rundown. However, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The TV has streaming apps, unlike a lot of newer hotels chains. The fitness center was decent. The service was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling 395

Aside from hot breakfast not being ready before we had to leave, the stay was very good. The room was clean, very basic, but ok. For the money, a decent place to stop on a road trip. Not fancy or special, just good value. In a king bed room, both nightstands should have a place to charge phones overnight, only one was provided.

Room was clean, furnishings were new and comfortable; room was spacious and well laid out, with plenty of convenient outlets and strong WiFi. ||Breakfast was solid, with fresh mango, yogurt, a pancake machine, and all the ingredients for breakfast burritos, including chorizo, all in a clean organized breakfast room with a nice view of Mt. Whitney. I appreciated that they washed the utensils instead of throwing everything away.||I didn’t have any special requests of the staff, but they were friendly and attentive; I reserved on the website about 20 minutes before arriving, and check-in was a breeze. ||There’s a pool

The room was nice and the area was quiet. Comfortable bed with great pillows. The breakfast selection was very good and tasty. Beautiful scenery and easy access to area attractions. What kept our rating from being a 5 was some TV issues and not great water pressure in shower.

4/25: stunning view of the Sierra Nevada's right from the motel. The location setting is superb. Friendly folks good staff and decent breakfast.

I visited in April and the prices were pretty modest so I gave it a good value rating. I suspect they raise the prices during the peak season.

We stayed at this hotel during a stopover between Las Vegas and San Luis Obispo. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I always appreciate in-room coffee — a small detail that makes a big difference!||The bathroom was equipped with thoughtful amenities for women, such as make-up remover wipes, which we really appreciated.||Breakfast was simple but surprisingly tasty, and the view of the surrounding mountains was the perfect way to start the day. A short but very pleasant stay.

I’ve been staying there for almost 2 months and the staff has been amazing, polite, professional and very helpful. There was a week they were booked Wed and Thur and I was dreading having to pack up Wed morning and try and find a place for the next two days but I had gotten a text thanking me for staying there and if I had any questions so I asked them if they had any cancellations to let me know so they did a couple of hours later, so I didn’t have to worry about finding somewhere else to stay. Everytime I check in the staff is very nice, they’re smiling and just making me feel welcome. Their rooms have always been very clean and stocked up with towels and toilet paper. Another thing I like is that unless you ask them to service the room they won’t. Oh and if I left earlier than 6am and needed breakfast they would make me a to go bag so I wouldn’t miss out on the free breakfast.

Great little pet-friendly hotel located at the base of Mt. Whitney and close to the amazing Alabama Hills. Check-in was quick and easy and the front desk were able to answer all my questions thoroughly. The hot breakfast has an amazing view of the Sierras which is especially beautiful as the sun comes up. Great price for a weekend and will definitely come back.
