Passing of a loved one is hard. After you deal with the emotions of it, there is the financial clean up. I had the opportunity to work with Shannon Bio on my dad’s estate. Simple solutions for what I thought was a hard problem. She cleaned up for me the mess created by another law firm (not going to share the other firm name), got immediate closure to the situation and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I really enjoyed working with Shannon. Thank you. I will be going back to her to work on my personal estate planning now that I am done with my fathers’ affairs.

Shannon seems to have some deep rooted daddy issues that at least in my case made discussion of my child’s guardian difficult as she brought her past into it. I expressed my wishes, she said she couldn’t do what I was asking and offered other ways. I was trying to get clarification on one of them, when she stated she wouldn’t take me as a client because I wouldn’t follow her advice. I again asked for clarification and she hung up. Must have had to go cry or get herself together. Her way or the highway. I’m confident that if she hadn’t bailed on the conversation and explained it without becoming emotional and agitated that we would have been on the same page and I would have understood her advice. Before I asked questions, she seemed knowledgeable and professional, although a little sarcastic and straight to the point, which I overal appreciate.
