DO NOT hire this law firm. They are a scandal group I hired to defend a fraudulent case brought by the corrupt state of CA involving the unconstitutional mask mandate. I was an injured person recovering from a broken back and a concussion. I did not show symptoms of the man made virus and was prevented from receiving healthcare I was entitled to through work comp. I paid 805, $4,500, and they didn't help me at all. When I kept laying out my points of the case, I was continuously ignored where they eventually requested to the judge to be removed from my representation. 805 DID NOT REFUND MY $4,500 I paid them with nothing to show.

Family law cases often involve emotionally trying and vulnerable situations, and it is essential to entrust your legal representation to a trustworthy and competent attorney. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend 805 Law Group, and I strongly advise you to seek legal assistance elsewhere.

Initially, my interactions with the office were welcoming, with open and friendly attitudes, providing a sense of comfort. However, this facade quickly dissolved into a completely different experience. The initial quoted price for their services was already high, which is somewhat expected in the realm of family law, given the sensitive nature of the cases. However, 805 Law Group appears to exploit the desperation and vulnerability of their clients more than most.

One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the office's extreme disorganization. I received repeated calls and emails on the same matters, often resulting in multiple charges for the same service. I even had paperwork filed without my prior approval, which is a significant breach of trust. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I learned that the responsible paralegal had left the office, highlighting a high turnover rate among paralegals and attorneys. This turnover created confusion and a lack of consistency in handling my case.

Furthermore, attorneys from 805 Law Group displayed unprofessional behavior, such as showing up late for court appearances. It was a gamble to determine which attorney would represent me at each court date, contributing to the chaotic handling of my case. My case was passed around so frequently that the office struggled to keep track of essential details, let alone provide proper representation.

One particularly concerning incident involved my child support court appearance. I explicitly communicated my desire not to have an attorney represent me for this matter. Yet, to my surprise, an attorney from the office showed up on my behalf, contradicting my wishes. When I questioned his presence and the associated fees, he downplayed the costs, which starkly contrasted with the amount billed on my statement.

805 Law Group consistently overcharged me for subpar representation, making their services unjustifiably expensive. Their approach seemed to prioritize prolonging cases and billing for unnecessary services rather than genuinely advocating for their clients' best interests. Additionally, if you are a female client, be prepared to encounter patronizing behavior from older male attorneys who appear driven by financial gain rather than empathy.

Lastly, it's worth noting that the main attorney of 805 Law Group has faced recent alcohol-related charges, which can be verified through the bar association's website. This further raises concerns about the professionalism and ethics of the firm.

In summary, my experience with 805 Law Group was a nightmare. They failed to bring any peace or meaningful help to my situation. I suspect that any positive reviews are likely fake or anomalies.Up until recently, there were reviews that shared similar complaints as mine, but somehow are no longer visible on Google reviews. For your own well-being and legal interests, I strongly recommend looking for alternative legal representation. There are reputable attorneys who can genuinely support you during challenging times without exploiting your vulnerability or overcharging for their services.

805 Law Group - Bait and Switch . . .
Day 2 of my complaint about this ‘firm’.

I gave this firm 30 days, in my first review below, to refund all of my money. I have yet to hear from them. So, I will continue with my complaint.

Bait and Switch - in your first meeting, Bill Ausman ‘pulls you in’, assuring you that you will be well taken care of. That he will be actively involved , attending the hearings and on top of the case at every juncture. He is a smooth operator.

He goes on to say that he has a full staff, including another attorney with decades of experience. What he doesn’t say is that this other attorney lives back east and only works part time (remotely) for him.

Basically, he collects your money then ‘outsources‘ your case. Bait and switch . . .

I expect full reimbursement within the next 29 days.

805 Law Group - Promises made and promises broken. Day 1 of my complaint about this ‘firm’.

This firm let my family down in a very big way. I don't need to go into the details, because Bill Ausman knows exactly how he dropped the ball and the devastating effect it had on my granddaughter and her baby.

I am hereby giving this firm notice that I expect to be made financially whole within 30 days of the posting of this review, by way of a refund in its entirety of funds paid by me to 805 Law Group. If this is not done, it will be our intention to initiate a fee arbitration dispute as well as submitting a complaint to the State Bar of California for:

1. Unethical billing practices.
2. Falling short of the duty to communicate to the client.
3. Falling short of the duty of competency, including being
ill-prepared for the court hearings. The 'associate' wasn't even
aware of important documents in the firm's possession, when asked by opposing counsel.
4. Etc., etc., etc. . . .

I could say much more and will if I am not entirely recompensed.

This was my first experience with a firm, so I didn’t really know what I was doing. The staff was helpful and understanding. Paralegal Kevin Hansen was very kind and kept me informed of what was going on every step of the way, so I didn’t feel as if I were in the dark. Also, the paralegals and secretaries do a lot of the leg work and then the lawyer checks it so when you are billed, it’s less expensive than if the lawyer was doing all of it. All of it was done over email and electronically signed documents, I only went in to the office once.

I couldn't ask for any better service!
Being on the road as a truck driver I received the utmost prompt and professional handling of my case by the 805 Law Group. Kevin kindly kept me informed and answered all my questions during the process with easy to understand explanations... Initially I thought it was going to be a difficult process but Kevin and the 805 Law Group made it easy for me with the communications and digital signings of paperwork.
