They are lazy. They NEVER come, when you calm them-in spite of calling if someone is doing drugs in our neighborhood. I jave called so many times, when people park behind my house with their loud music and doing drugs in their car (during the night 12am to 4am). These officers don't care. Not sure why we have to pay taxes for these lazy people who don't like their job.

Very professional and courteous. All the law enforcement there are polite and ready to assist you as promptly as possible. They let people speak and they try to understand all the circumstances. All of the cars and units are always clean.

My husband was having a hard time and checked their website it has all their information. Finally got to the right person and they were able to assist his case. However, we don’t have the number case so we can’t really know what it is, but hope this is the right ticket! You also need to pay 30 dollars for the case if you’re trying to get full on details. Which should’ve been our tax payers, but again government is not so great.

Being a first responder myself, having immediate family having issues and having to report misbehaving children and about to commit serious crimes they have and including the chief of national city police department himself had the audacity to reach out as well and blame who people vote for and how “bad parents have bad kids” some way to interact with the community when you are funded by the community, and are supposed protect the community. Prime examples of bad apples making everyone look bad San Diego police department would never how disgusting of department this has become coming from a national city resident

After being stuck at a malfunctioning railroad crossing for 30 freaking minutes, i was calling cops bc my husband- a truck driver- couldn’t get through and couldn’t do a U turn bc his employer forbids it. There were 25-50 cars waiting for this thing to work and none of us have all year for the city of San Diego to figure out how to operate railroad crossings. When i was told no one could get out there operator #3581 threatened me then HUNG UP ON ME for merely asking if i could try to lift the thing myself. People were already driving around the arms, and there could have been someone with an emergency, at least THEY could move.

I guess, though, since we’re not rich, this 3581 individual didn’t care and decided i wasn’t worth her time.

She needs to be dealt with bc that was a legit concern and a legit question, and my solution was the only one available at the time so i offered to do that. So sorry i wasn’t wealthy enough for our cops to care about. If i had called and told them a black person was jogging by a wealthy neighborhood they would have had 12 cops and swat team back up, but asking anyone for actual help then presenting a solution gets me hung up on.

I’ve been trying to contact anyone from National City PD for over the last 9 months regarding my case lol.. They haven’t checked up on my case over the last 9 months… I’ve emailed, called, requested help, and even instagram messaged them, etc with no luck. I feel so unprotected with a complete disregard for my personal safety. All I want is some response and someone to check on my case. I’m coming in person again asap but I doubt there will be any improvement. Extremely frustrated.

I thought my car was stolen so I called their 24 hour non emergency number. The lady’s that helped me were empathetic, helpful and so patient with me while I was in distress. I got a text affirming that I was being helped while I looked for additional information. I felt supported and helped. Thank you very much for helping the community and making us feel safe!
