Tired of the non-stop noise over my house, I chose not to live by an airport. I live in Hyrum and I have the noise of small airplanes continuously from 3 different flight schools.

I genuinely had a terrible experience here. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Instructors are unprofessional and really don't care about students success. The chiefs don't care at all about the students and won't work with you if you are having problems. They don't have nearly enough airplanes for the number of students they have. I was lucky if I was able to fly once every other week. All your flights get canceled for dumb reasons. They threaten to take away your money all the time. To much politics with the school. Took ages to get my private done here. Would stay far away. Don't waste your money here like I did.

Unfortunately after trying for a year and a half to work with the Utah State Aviation we leave with nothing to show for it and 9,000 dollars of student debt. We've had an absolutely awful experience. Would recommend getting your pilots licence through a private company and not wasting your time and money with this program.

I graduated from here in 1988. When I got all 6 kids in school, I started back after quitting to get married in 1961. I love this school and all my instructors. I recommend it anyone.
I majored in Elementary Education.

Drove hours to take a test here but got turned away for not having a proof of address according to the test administrator. Got home and looked really quick on the faa website, turns out I had everything I needed the guy was just absolutely no help. Wasted over $170 and hours of my time to have some condescending guy get a kick out of me. Never test here.
