Matt was extremely knowledgeable about both federal and state laws and procedures relating to immigration. There is no clear law on the situation we were dealing with, and he was very creative in developing a strategy, and it worked! The engagement lasted several years because there were several intermediate steps that needed to take place along the way. Even though it wasn't in Matt's purview to handle those intermediate steps, he was both patient and generous with his time in helping my friend get through those successfully.
