Jesse helped me through my custody case to bring my son back home. I cannot say enough good things about him and his team, nor do I know where to start. Jesse’s ability to navigate the court system, his knowledge, and his resources were second to none that I have met. He is great at being able to handle everything with a level head and calmness that helped me understand when I could not leave my emotions out of it. He was always straight with me, he could see and feel where things were going in and out of the courtroom to do the right thing. I never once felt like Jesse or his team tried to waste my time or money. They respected and understood the hardships(financially and emotionally) of my case. He is blunt, to the point and sometimes it’s a hard pill to swallow and look at the situation outside of your own tunnel vision. But that is what he does. His firm will never make you feel like you’re not one of them or that you’re anything less than their number one client. You don’t meet many individuals in this world who are like Jesse who do not waiver from what’s right and their morals. Jesse has built a team around that. I have never regretted or worried about a dime I spent working with Jesse. Because, when I pick up my son and he runs to me I know that I am blessed because of God and him putting someone like Jesse and his team in my life.

Best attorney I have ever worked with. I found him by asking all the attorneys I knew who they would hate to go up against in divorce court. Each attorney gave me his name and each one respects him. He is extremely efficient, knows everyone in the court and family law system and is actually very enjoyable to work with. He will not let you go down rabbit holes and waste your time and money. I highly recommend you get him on your team before the other party does.

Going thru a divorce is a devastating and traumatic experience--especially if it is not amicable. It is super important to partner with the right attorney. I highly recommend Jesse if you are in need of a divorce attorney. Jesse not only knows California Divorce law, he importantly has local knowledge of Santa Cruz legal system, process a nd people. Jesse also has extensive trial experience in the unlikely event that is needed. Jesse also has sa great team including an excellent forensic accountant. Jesse is very conscientious about time and sets clear boundaries about what he can help with and what would be better for someone else to support (accountant, therapist) while still being empathetic ) occasionally sharing his personal experiences) to the stress, frustration and heart break that occurs when going thru a divorce.
