This park has so much more to offer then it may look like. The actual park itself is small, quaint and quiet. It is nestled in some trees and shrubbery, home to a variety of birds and other park critters. If you drive a little past the actual park and head up the road that winds (Switchbacks) up the mountain, it will lead you to one of the most beautiful bluff views, perfect for capturing the sunsets and sunrises. Up here is where you'll find the dirt bikers, 4 wheelers and quads, as well as the photographers and people just hanging out and enjoying the scenery. It is definitely worth a visit!

There is no camping allowed. As of 7/12/25. Signs posted. Went there to camp and found out the hard way. Lots of bugs. Don't recommend. Noisy due to the being right of the highway.

My experience of this park was camping a couple of nights in my bus. Not sure if the park consist of any more than a lot full of campers, and a couple of pit toilets. A large sign makes it clear that camping is limited to 14 days. From my interactions with some of the other campers, it seems like the campers there may vary from short to longer-termers, but I didn’t come right out and ask anyone if they had been there more than 14 days (not my business, not my problem), but I did get asked if I knew β€œRyan,” as though I was maybe supposed to know my neighbors at a campsite by name. The context of this conversation was I someone trying to find something that had been stolen from another camper, so points given for looking out for one another, and taken for there being theft apparently. The proximity of the highway and the freight rail line make this not the most serene location to sleep, but then again it was a free parking lot to crash in, so I’m not complaining.

It's a really beautiful park but kind of the hangout spot for welfare warriors, I definitely wouldn't camp here. It is also right next to the highway so you hear every car that goes past.

It's a great little place to rest. It's in a unique place you can still see traffic go by and it's peaceful with the little water that goes through there. Has picnic tables and a rest room a boat dock to take and put you boat on the water it's not really deep so I don't recommend a big motor boat but a row boat or kayak maybe..
