I first met Tom while I was desperately looking for an attorney to represent me as I was being taken advantage of by my ex partner’s Lawyer. We, my ex and I, were so far apart on what we thought was a fair settlement and without Tom’s representation her lawyer was about to legally settle the case without my input or side of the story.
I had a very hard time trying to find a law firm to even hear my case. I was in a long term relationship, but not married (dumb move on my part) and most lawyers in Santa Cruz were not interested in even hearing what I had to say let alone represent me. When I first met in Tom’s office, his demeanor was calming and reassuring.
