Apex Capital Consulting is a scam (30111 Technology Dr Suite 130 Murrieta CA 92563). They send you letters, they call and even provide you email documentation. They threaten filling court documents against you and scare you into settling the student loan. I fell for this and paid them $540.63. I reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the CA & My states Attorney General office, The Better Business Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission and TransUnion as well as my bank. I hope these people get caught and shut down. Don’t fall for this...do research before ever paying a “collection” company. Never feel pressure to make a decision on the spot, evaluate your options and check to see if the company is legit before paying them a penny! I know I wish I did! And all the people I’ve talk to in this company are rude and disrespectful!!! I hope karma gets all of you!

Scam artists..had a so called process server call my wife that she has a civil complaint against her. And to resolve the "civil complaint" they then gave her the 800 phone number for these clowns. They are violating every FDCP law and can be sued. Hope the owner figures that out! It's zombie debt collecting and using fraudulent tactics to get money. It was a Verizon bill from 2002 that she didnt even owe and wasn't in her name. They are all over the internet as frauds. Debt scavengers

If these people call you hang up immediately! They will lie,threaten,and scare you into paying stuff they are not allowed to collect on. 4 dollars online to get your credit info and then they call you using old addresses and phone numbers to try to look real. They will even tell you they are a lawfirm because now a days all you need to do to call yourself a lawfirm is have 1 lawyer with your company. When i asked why they have reviews saying they were scamers lexi told me it was because people get mad when they have to pay there bills...not 1 good review. The persons name i worked with was lexi and she tried telling me she was a good christen woman who would never work for a company that scams, then she removed 500 dollars from my account and disapeared. Im currently out 2500 dollars because of these people right before xmas.When i talked to my lawyer he said that my debt was closed years ago and they didnt have a right to come after me and because i made a payment to them they are able to try to collect on the account for another 6 years. These people are liars,and are heartless do not even give them a chance to talk with you because they really are professional con artists and need to be shut down. Please do not pay these people any money! It’s a complete fraud and scam. They called me saying I owed $1800 for my beauty school, which I attended over 10 years ago and these are loans that were paid off a long time ago. They will scare you and say you only have 3 days to pay before they file liens against you! They will also send very legit looking collections letters. Complete fraud do not pay them anything!

This place is a scam and breaking the law. They need to be shut down complaint filed with cfpd and ftc. They purchase your personal information due to the Equifax breach. Fraudulent activity stated I owe money on a Verizon land line From 2002 which was my ex husband family member land line and to top it off that family member has not lived there since 2003 due to selling the home. So bring it on sue me for a debt that never existed.

THEY ARE A BUNCH OF FRAUDS PREYING ON THE INNOCENT! THEY NEED SHUT DOWN AND SENT TO JAIL FOR THEFT. They have taken thousands from my boyfriend towards student loans. When we checked the student aid department there are no records of any payments. NONE WHATSOEVER!!!

They just called me and try and say they have my beauty school loan of $8000 which the school was shut down before i could even complete and my loan with them are actually with a secure and legit company and i called and the call rep said cancel your card and dont answer any calls with them your loan is in deferment its a scam be careful the lady i talk to was jessica.
