I've been going to this Exchange for over a year. I always receive great service from Alyssa, Jack, Maggie, Voltaire, and the rest of the CGX team. Even during busy hours, the employees do a great job of getting customers checked out in a timely manner. Aside from a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, they also provide seasonal gifts that you can buy for loved ones, many of which are themed after Kodiak or the Coast Guard. The upstairs department has sales every few months with prices that can compete with the mainland.

Nice selection of Coast Guard gear and men’s and women’s clothing. My only complaint is that they don’t carry children’s clothes or shoes. They have recently added to their furniture in house and offer decent deals on electronics.

This coast guard exchange has a lack of concern for both their customers and employees. I went in for a return a few days ago, and saw one of the managers, whose name is Paula as I saw from the name tag. She was being extremely loud, unprofessional, and derogatory towards not only her customers but employees. When I tried to address my concerns regarding my return, she was very dismissive and disrespectful and would not adhere to any of my questions. Very disappointed in the lack of basic human decency displayed by the manager at this store.

The manger Paula is so disrespectful she not only treated my husband like trash we tried to do a return on something that was missing the scrunchies and the pajamas are to small and she refused take them due to having a piece of dog hair on it.
