This search group has had a good reputation in the past. However, the last time I tried to work with them in 2023, they completely failed me. I got sent out on one interview through Sarah Villasenor. When I first talked to her we set up an appointment to chat and she failed to call me. I finally called her back and she said she had lunch plans and she would call me back. She completely blew me off which is very unprofessional. I should have know she would be worthless. She kept mentioning other companies' jobs but nothing came of it. They were a total waste of time.

I don’t know what I would have done without Amanda Smothers. I moved to Houston from San Antonio for law school, starting as a part-time student. I was seeking a new opportunity and applied to a position on LinkedIn. To my surprise, Amanda had many opportunities for me in addition to the one for which I applied. I drove down to Houston, interviewed, and received offers from the firms with which I interviewed. Amanda was very supportive throughout the process. She met me for lunch on the day of my interviews, sent me a Starbucks gift card (because you can never have too much coffee working in law), and took me to lunch again to make sure I was settling in with my new firm. I have never had a recruiter take the time to make sure I was happy in my new role and advocate for me the way Amanda did. She did an excellent job starting from her initial phone call. She is extremely professional. I am so thankful and blessed. Collier should be incredibly grateful to have her on their team.
