I have known Roy Doppelt for many years and he has always given me sound legal advice. He has been an attorney in San Diego for over 35 years. I would highly recommend him as an attorney to meet all your family law needs because he always has his clients' best interests in mind. Roy actually keeps a legal pad on his bedroom side table so he can write down any strategies he formulates in the middle of the night. Yes, he is that type of attorney who really cares. He is always thinking about how to best help his clients, even in the middle of the night, to assure a successful outcome. Roy is honest, hard working and so loyal to his clients. He is exceptionally versed in the area of family law, and well liked and respected by the judges and court staff and unlike other family law attorneys, Roy Doppelt offers a free consultation so he can get to know you and fully understand your issues and needs. Roy Doppelt is the Micheal Jordan of family law attorneys. His experience and knowledge of California family law is unsurpassed. He's going to prepare you for what you need to know and what to expect. He is very compassionate and understanding, he exercises empathy and knows what you are going through and not only helps but will lead the way. His entire office are top notch professionals at the top of their game. He is extremely intelligent and very prepared in a manner that brings you confidence that he will represent you to the fullest extent. I am honored that Roy took may case and is representing me. I had a very convoluted divorce case that involved children and I trusted Roy's team to represent me. He was very thorough, responsive, patient, and able to walk me through a dissolution agreement without going to trial. He was very conservative when it came to finances, offered me different options so that I did not have to waste money on certain processes. He was very assertive in court representing me and we reached our legal goals. I would highly recommend him to represent anyone with a family legal case. His experience and knowledge speaks volumes. I'm extremely pleased with Roy's services. I hired him for a complicated family law case a few months back and from the start he was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He didn't overpromise and kept my expectations reasonable, although in the end we achieved all my objectives and things couldn't have gone better. Roy was well prepared in court and his staff was a pleasure to work with. Costs were also kept reasonable and I didn't feel nickel and dimed, which is rare in my experience with other family lawyers. I highly recommend his firm and could not be happier with the outcome for my case.

Damon and his team, with special mention of Dianne for being incredible throughout my case, were the best champions of my cause that I could have prayed for. Roy and his firm were attentive to my questions and concerns. They were respectful of my time and my resources. They had direct answers to all of my questions by phone and or email. Meetings were scheduled conveniently. With all of these, cost was even reasonable!!! Roy meets with you on day 1 and he makes sure you are satisfied from there on .

Roy Doppelt was grossly unprepared during court hearings. So much so, I almost felt sorry for my ex-husband who he hired to represent him. My attorney ate him for lunch and it left my ex worse off than when he started. He immediately fired Roy to seek new counsel. Roy’s attempts to go for the jugular, play dirty and act like a big shot, ended up shooting my ex in the foot. Not to mention he has no problem fabricating horrific stories and situations in a scummy way to get a leg up in the case (ie, the Silver Bullet offense). In the end, the judge saw through his tactics and reversed all prior orders. He has zero integrity and can’t effectively litigate, so he decides to just throw out untruths to muddy the waters. He’s why divorce attorneys have a bad name. He is inept, unorganized, and dubious.

Damon and Dianne are the best. They were always responsive and explained everything in detail and always had time for my questions and calls. Dianne was always working on my case and following up and kept we while informed. Damon was very straight forward and honest.
