Dr. Marino is genuinely a good-hearted soul. I’ve never met with a therapist that had as much care and compassion for her patients as she does. Her office was my safe space as she was free of judgement. Dr. Marino saw me through one of the toughest journey’s in my life, a journey that I honestly couldn’t have gotten through otherwise. I will forever be grateful for her support and guidance. You truly are a Godsend Dr. Marino!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Mary. It’s so funny that we all go to therapists when something is severely wrong when in reality EVERYONE can benefit from therapy even when nothing is “wrong.”

I came to Dr. Mary at a point where it felt like my world was shifting in EVERY area. It was important to me that I had a Christian therapist because my faith is very important to me and I wasn’t willing to be patient enough to explain my beliefs to anyone else. I needed someone who just understood and I needed to make sense of life. Dr. Mary isn’t only for Christians although I do believe that her beliefs play into how compassionate and professional she is. She is a GEM and I pray that everyone else can see that.

Every single time I leave her office, I gain that much more clarity. She is also very empowering in that she helps you get to points of realizations that she doesn’t force on you. I truly appreciate that.

One word...Awesome. Dr Mary was my first experience going to a therapist and I am forever grateful. She had the perfect balance of letting me talk but then putting her thoughts and reactions in as they were necessary. I was challenged and encouraged and my mind was shifted towards freedom as she exposed some of the inner struggles I was having that I didn’t even know I had. I highly recommend Dr Mary because of her obvious experience and the individual wisdom she display towards each client.
I always had the keen understanding that she was for me not against me. Her gentleness even when she has to say hard things is incredible. I meet with her now for the simple pleasure of talking and discussing with her. I would call her a modern day Solomon. Her simplicity and love are a beauty that is rare in this world. I thank God that he lead me to her. She helped me through some difficult times and just with life in general. Thank you Dr Mary.

About 6 years ago I wrote a thorough review of Mary only to have it removed. My daughter saw Mary about 5 years ago, and I had the highest hopes as she is advertised as a "Christian" counselor. To advertise yourself as such, indicates that you carry yourself in a very specific manner. I found her and her ideas to be a danger to my daughter. My daughter was engaged in behavior at the time that would no doubt, lead her down a very disturbing path-and it didn't require a "Christian" perspective to understand this. Mary condoned and supported my 18 year old daughter pursuing a married man of nearly 40 years old. One specific question she asked me when I was included in a session was if I would be okay with the relationship if he had began separation/divorce proceedings. I felt SICK. She also stated that me taking my daughters phone away from her (the phone I pay for) was "Violence". She stated that it were times like these that she became a "momma bear." I sat there in disbelief. Sobbing. Unable to fully grasp what was being thrown at me. Every now and again, I think back to this experience and think it's IMPERATIVE that other parents know that while Mary professes Christ in her advertising and in words, they are in words only. If you have a young child that is engaged in behaviors that are concerning to you as a parent, proceed with caution. when she is in a closed room with your child, you have no idea what she will tell them, encourage or support. Being a "Christian" my guard was down, and I was not prepared for what occurred. However, God opened my eyes by allowing me to be a part of that session early on in her therapy. I let her know that day, that she was my daugther, not hers, and those mamma bear instincts she pretended to have belonged to me alone. My daughter never stepped foot back in that office.
