Edison and their team of competent lawyers met and exceeded my expectations at a time I had lost all hope in the IP system.

My IP of a tool invention was misappropriated in several ways in the last few years, one of those ways being by numerous online merchants using copyrighted material in stealing and promoting my product which I had spent over 10 years of blood, sweat and tears developing.

I am very skeptical by nature and at first I automatically felt that Edison's inquiry was yet another scam when William contacted me. I threw away the first email into the trash bin.

Until he called me directly.

I'm glad he did. The team at Edison did a great job in convincing me. The key was how they made sure that their team was asking nothing of me other than permission. That they would fund the legal approach and that they weren't looking for anything directly from me.

They also showed that they'd done their homework on my product and what had happened to it. They laid out realistic expectations and throughout the two and a half years of the process they, and the partner lawyers, showed competence and shared every little detail without hiding anything and communicated superbly. They answered every question with care and accommodated my requests in a timely manner, when it mattered.

At the end it worked out that we both won against intellectual property thieves and hopefully played a small part in changing their behavior.

Edison came to me at a time of need out of the blue without me knowing about them. It was as if it was meant to be. And they delivered.

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for what they did for me and my hard work, and in a small way restore some of my faith in our system of justice.
