I had been working on a tax strategy for paying the least amount of taxes on capital gains my stocks have accrued. I will need to start selling some of my investments for my retirement. I am very knowledgeable in taxes, tax forms and IRS requirements. In working up the strategy I wanted to be absolutely sure I was compliant and accurate so I filled out the 2023 forms I would need in 2024 or 2025 to start selling and paying the taxes on my stocks. I wanted to do it manually to see all the computations to thoroughly understand everything involved and to see all possible tax deductions and possibly changes to make to take full advantage of the tax code. I took my documents to have Michael review them for accuracy. He reviewed them and not only confirmed the accuracy but also pointed out some things that would be affecting me in the future that could help in taking full advantage of the tax code ongoing. While it was an unusual accounting task I was very pleased with his services.

Essick Tax Services has always been great. I've been a customer happy customer for a few years now and not only did they help when I was having with the IRS but they helped explain how to keep my records in case I get audited and other things I can file to get a bigger return.

Michael and his son Chris Are great people. Easy to work with and incredibly professional. If you have issues with the IRS or want an easy process with getting your return and filing your taxes, I highly recommend going in and talking with them like I did. You'll find yourself in the my same position where you'll be a life long customer, not having to worry about tax season and all the usual headache's.
