I didn't even get a choice in choosing my title company the realtors chose for me Eric Balliet & Greg Opgenorth. Elena Jobson was the closer and she did an awful job horrible at returning phone calls or emails that it escalated up to Jennifer Zimmerman.

Closing was slated for 12/6/24 I signed several days before and closed on my new home purchase the same day. Due to the buyer needing additional review for their manually underwritten VA loan the closing was pushed to 12/17/24 which did not work for me.

Then pushed to 12/27/24 but I secured the funds needs to close on the sell side on 12/19/24 but did not receive any instructions on closing until 12/23/24. Due to the buyer needing extra time I had to pay the mortgage, HOA dues and extra utilities for the property and let the closer Elena know this. I paid everything on 12/10/24 to avoid late fees.

The HOA dues were paid twice and I left Elena and Jennifer Zimmerman know this and was told per the HOA (Advance Management HOA) that 10 business days needed to pass before the could remove the cost from the seller paid or due section of the settlement statement which coincides with the day we closed 12/23/24.

I reached out to Elena today (1/13/25) about my refund and of the HOA dues and she says the check has not been cashed and she's hesitant to stop payment without speaking with them. I called the HOA company and was told they issued a refund on 1/10/25 but sent it to the address I moved away from!

The absolute carelessness and lack of professionalism from Elena is appalling and to make matters worse she repeatedly continues to spell my name wrong when she has the file pulled up and can proofread it before sending!!! I now am at the mercy of the postal service to hopefully forward the refund to my new address.

If it is not received within 7-10 business days I then have to wait 30 days for it to be sent again. This is unbelievable. I provided the proper forwarding address it shouldn't take 20 days to get a refund from the HOA company when I paid the HOA dues 33 days ago.

That refund was due the same day I closed. The closers are only concerned with pushing closings through ,not actually taking the time and dedication to right issues that were pointed out previously. I do not recommend.

First integrity review
I thought I would wait until the end of the week before I responded and once again I am fully and utterly disappointed! I thought I would let go of the fact that our closing experience was absolutely horrible, however, I cannot. We were grossly mistreated by Heather. She was extremely unprofessional. She was having conversations about my closing with someone other than myself and when I tried to tell her it wasn’t me she had been having conversations with and asked what email she was using, she told me calm down when I told her she had the wrong email address. Then she told me that the person coming to do our closing would be able to answer all of my questions, but that person was simply a notary and was not able to answer anything. Heather said that she would call after the closing was over, but I have not never heard from her since then. Not even a half-hearted apology for possibly giving my personal information to a total stranger. Not one care in the world that my personal information could be being used by someone else as I am typing this review! Pam Giarratano called me and acted as if she was horrified by my experience and said that the Vice President of the company wanted to make it right and said something about offering to return some of our closing cost or maybe a gift card. I conceded and said that was fine. She said the gift card would arrive the next day. It didn’t!! Had I not called to tell her the card hadn’t arrived, I probably would not have heard from her either. She apologizes and says that she would be sending a $75 gift card, from herself, because she screwed up and felt horrible. In the meantime the other card shows up...it was $100. Such a slap in the face for all the hell that First Integrity put us through. Needless to say, Pam’s card never showed up, but more importantly, she never followed up with us...yet again!!! She’s not even returning my text messages. This company says that they care, however, they absolutely do not. Do not be duped by their false leadings. If you are buying a house, thinking about buying a house or know someone who is buying a house or thinking about buying a house DO NOT I REPEAT, SO NOT USE FIRST INTEGRITY TITLE COMPANY!! Our realtor, Renee Harris, was absolutely amazing in this entire process and picked up the ball every time First Integrity dropped it!! And they dropped it a lot. She didn’t have to go to bat for my husband and I, but she did!!! First Integrity should change their name to NO INTEGRITY...because they have none!! Maybe they should have looked up the word integrity before giving that name to their company!!

I closed almost a.month ago. I had a loan that is supposed to paid off. After several calls the loan is still not paid off.
They also sent the check to the wrong warranty company.
Poor customer service.
I wish I had a recourse.
I really wonder if there are more mistakes 🤔

If they are ok risking peoples' health by not knowing about this change in regulations, I have to imagine they are equally careless about other changes.
The executive order allowing video chat notarization was issued 3/27, and my parents were still required to close in person by this ignorant company on 3/31, even after I called on 3/30 saying one of them had a respiratory issue. The notary was well prepared with mask and gloves, but it was completely unnecessary.

My dad passed away on the 11th of the month the gave me no extra time I was there 5 days passed the 30th and they charged me 150.00 a day that's worse than a motel they r very fake ppl that act like they care and really don't they just want ur property I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They act like they care but they really don't!!!!!

Great location for a closing! Thanks for the nice hospitality while we were there. My clients and I enjoyed the office space.

I have had a couple of closings with Integrity now. One as a Realtor and another when buying a house myself. Both went very well. I'm impressed!
