If you want your move to be done with little effort on your part and to perfection look no further than Friend of the Family. I have used them seven times for family moves and recommended them to several friends with complicated high end moves. Friend of the Family delivers every time.

I did not wrap, pack, pick up, sort or move one item myself. The crew worked tirelessly and are delightful and trustworthy. They took care of my belongings as if they were their own. Very sentimental and expensive pieces were crated or packed to ensure no damage would occur. Anything I no longer needed was either consigned or donated. Only true trash was discarded.

Not only did Friend of the Family save me time but also money. They did price comparisons for the storage facility and movers for me, negotiating a much better price than I would have received myself.

I would never do a move without the help of Friend of the Family.

I have used Friend of the Family for 4 different moves of my older adult clients, whether moving from one home to another home or one apartment to another apartment. One move was quite complex with a very large house with many belongings, and the clients were moving out of state. The other moves were smaller apartment to apartment moves locally. I have been very pleased with each move and the service that they provided. I always use Friend of the Family because they are professional, detail oriented, and their staff are always kind and hard working. The staff always set up the apartment or room or house at the new location to look really comfortable, familiar, and warm for my clients, which is what I love most about them. They hang items on the wall and make people feel at home. And the cost has been quite reasonable for the moves. Hire them!

Friend of the Family helped me initially going through three large storage lockers to identify contents, what could be donated, and what needed to be trashed properly. In my absence, they were able to consolidate three lockers into one organized space and add remaining household items saving me money on monthly rental of space. On my brief return FriendsFof the Family staff helped me to go through the one very full and large locker for preparation of a final move. Everything left was organized and packed for one more move. Friends ofothe Family went two steps further in my absence by helping to find a cost effective moving company with the right credentials to move my household items to my new home, and to supervise the loading effort as I could not be present. Friend of the Family and their staff provided above average assistance and sound advice. I would recommend Friends of the Family as it provides the right technical and personal support in a cost effective manner.

If you are looking for help with transitioning or downsizing from one home to another then you have found the best solution in Friend of the Family.

I went looking for help for my family member living in the Denver metro area and found Anne, through another friend whose parents had transitioned from a home to condo. Anne took time to discuss the scope of our extensive project, which included guiding us in stages over many months to accommodate the stress of coping with this large transition.
Once the initial process began her team was receptive and proactive day-to-day to reduce, reuse, pack, and then unpack into the new home.

Friend of the family was so incredibly helpful with everything I needed. My mother passed away and I had to move my father into a memory facility. They had a condo full of furniture, equipment, clothing, and other items. I live in a different state and was only able to take a week off work. I had to vacate the condo my parents lived in in 10 days. Friends of the Family was able to help me sell things, coordinate my fathers move, help me sell their car, get items to goodwill, and tie up loose ends. I literally wouldn’t have been able to do this without them. I was overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. They gave me the help and support I needed. I can’t say enough good things about their employees and moving contact. So incredibly nice and professional.

My family used this service in March, 2018, to help move our mother from her condominium into an assisted living apartment. When we first met Anne at the condo we were very impressed with her professionalism and apparent number of contacts for selling high quality furnishings, china, crystal, etc. on consignment. We decided to use Friend of the Family to help us accomplish a difficult, emotional move for our mother and to help us dispose of items from her large condo that would not fit into her new, much smaller assisted living apt.

Sadly we have been extremely disappointed in the results of this "partnership." While the employees were helpful and patient during the move itself, basically nothing happened on schedule, almost nothing has been sold on consignment, items were donated without authorization, no documentation whatsoever has been provided, and one lame excuse after another has been given for the delays and lack of performance.

We have given this group every benefit of the doubt just to be disappointed over and over. It has been extremely upsetting for our mother who found the move and loss of independence upsetting enough.

If this is the standard of performance that is typical for this group I have no idea how they stay in business. The one thing they do in a timely manner is invoice you. I suggest you steer clear and get help elsewhere. This is not worth the aggravation.

This place took advantage of of my parents when they had to move to assisted living due to catastrophic health events during covid. Packers rampantly stole valuables, sold auction items extremely undervalued and gave away items Not for sale for free. it seemed like either kickbacks or sales to friends in the estate sale network was also going. Items worth thousands of dollars were sold for a total of $50. The overall services cost $10k+ with additional changes in cost added later despite contractual agreements. This place is a fraud. Don't get taken in by their fake kindness they are out to bully and scam those that aren't in a position to advocate for them selves
