I recently called Golden State Law Group because I am drowning in debt. I spoke with Adam and he advised me to come to the office. I work during the week and can't afford to take off work and Adam told me they have Saturday appointments! I was so happy. Wow was this office NICE. I was greeted by a very sweet girl, I think her name was Aurora. Very helpful. At my consultation they told me they could help me and they will take care of everything. I met my Attorney, David Well, he is SO nice and knowledgable. He made me feel like family, not just another client. I was nervous about the fee, but it turned out to be very reasonable and they let me set up a payment plan that I can afford! It's just doesn't get easier than this. Now I am completely out of debt and so much happier! What a relief! I recommend Golden State Law Group to everyone! They are amazing! I have already referred a lot of my friends and family and they also got the 5 star treatment. 🙂 If your thinking about bankruptcy, this is the place to go!

I had a great experience at Golden State Law Group. I knew I had to address my bad financial situation, but I had been putting it off. I made the decision to call Golden State and was treated so nice by everyone there, and just meeting with attorney David Weil set my mind at ease right from the start. He explained my situation and how Golden State would help me. For the first time in years, I feel some real relief.

I was uncomfortable from the first time I walked into the office. I felt like I was in the middle where they just grind out bankruptcies. I was not happy about filing a bankruptcy but it needed to be done. In the meantime things went from bad to worse my son died and I was in the hospital for a month. When I told them I really wanted to go with a different firm one of their employees told me that they would keep me in court to use all the money. I was talking about small claims court. She was almost yelling at me. I’m thinking about making a complaint with the state attorney board. But I warn you right now stay away from them. I am shortly going to be 74 years old. And the way she yelled at me it was almost elder abuse. I believe their shysters. And due to my failing health. I’ve been delayed and filing a small claims court. To my knowledge you cannot be represented by an attorney in small claims court. But apparently their employee thought differently. Beware

First of all, very expensive and terrible communication. They had me running around gathering information, then didn't tell me I had to bring in a money order for the court filing fees, so another trip. During my hearing the Trustee had questions that when I looked at my attorney for guidance he just shrugged his shoulders and left me hanging. Since I wasn't expecting this line of fire I was scared. Then it was re-scheduled so the law firm could provide time sheets (red flag in my book). Since no one called me and I didn't recieve any letters regarding the new hearing, I called them. Jorgette was very rude and said I should have written down the date and time. I arrived for the new hearing and found out that all 5 people being represented by Golden had to come back. I was the only one that showed, my guess because I had called. The line of questioning all had to do with this firm, Again a red flag. Why are they being looked at? I was asked how much I had to pay, almost $2,000.00, how many people did I meet with and if I had met with my lawyer before the hearing. I did but very briefly. I was asked what the delay was from when I first met at Golden and my hearing (a delayed divorce) My lawyer added rudely that I had to finish my payments which wasn't true. I didn't correct him because I just wanted out of there. Terrible experience!!!

I was so highly impressed with the service I received from the initial contact all the way through the process. Even though my discharge was granted some months ago, David and Mary are still there for me when issues arise. Thank you, David and Mary! You are not only my attorney and paralegal but you are my friends!

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are a rip off and lie. They get you to sign the contract, take your money and do nothing.
I cancelled with them and they said that I owed them money for the work they did. I asked for proof of what they had done and a record of all activity on my account. Suddenly I owed them nothing.
DO NOT USE THEM. THEY LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL. They know you are desperate or you wouldnt be filing bankruptcy. We need to get rid of these guys.
Lets get together and get rid of them.
