Just finished our 5 year CH13, as scared as I was and as much as I felt I had failed in life at the time of filing. I must say this was the best decision we could have made for us financially. The Guzman law firm was very informative and walked us thru step by step. We had very little communication over the past 5 years with the firm but in this situation they informed us that not hearing from them is considered good news. I never want to have to be in the situation again to have to file but if I did I wouldn't hesitate. Credit can always be rebuilt but the stress that finances can put on you, your body, your mind and your relationship cant always be. Starting 2025 off with a clean slate, no debt and all my coins in my pocket now.

My business was not doing very well, and was forced into the last resort of Bankruptcy. This was a very tough choice, but after speaking to the Guzman Law Firm, they helped me through the process with professionalism, grace, and with empathy. They were always responsive, easy to communicate with, and always there to answer questions. I appreciated everything they did, and they after a few months, my debts were discharged. Not the best circumstance to be writing a great review, but the Guzman Law Firm is the place to go if you are experiencing financial difficulties, and need to do any type of Bankruptcy! Again, I am grateful.

If I could put less than one star, I would!! Eloise Guzman deserves ZERO stars. She is not a good person, is very rude, arrogant, and has no concern whatsoever for her client's best interests. She surely didn't care about my case because she told me to get another attorney on the same day a motion was due on my case. Unbelievable! Not to mention, once she got paid, I was nobody. She introduced herself to me every time she saw me smh! Like, yeah we've met... Remember, I hired you. Crazy! I would advise anyone who has a complaint against Guzman's conduct and professionalism to file a grievance with the Texas Bar Discplinary Committee asap!! She conducts her practice in violation of several rules of conduct.

But I must also say that her assistant, Carina is awesome!! She should be the lawyer, not Eloise.

Called to get information and they lady seemed irritated from the start as soon as we told her we were in her county in another county she said "Sorry can't help you we don't help that area" and hung up didn't even let me ask her a follow up question...

The only attorney I have ever used of any sort that responds to me or my emails so fast. My attorney personally replies to me and always has the answers to my questions! Mrs Guzman is very respectful, never interrupting me or brushing me aside.

Used this unprofessional firm for bankruptcy. Was told all debts would be included. Paid off what was owed only to find out that principle was not included in bankruptcy. Called to ask why and was told I had to come in and speak to an attorney, but bottom line was I still had to pay the $17,000.00!! They are uncaring and deceptive.
