Mrs. Harrington is an arbitrator in Small Claims court. She is completely unprofessional. I appeared in front of her on behalf of two clients. When I made a legal argument based of actually law, she refused to review the evidence. Which would have legallyh forced her to decide in my client's favor.

On the second case I had in front of her, she award damages to a party for the complete repairs to a vehicle, when only a molding was broke. She does not follow the facts or the law, which makes her a very dangerous person to have on the bench. If you find yourself in front of her, remain professional and when she incorrectly decides the matter, request a trial De Novo.

Mrs. Harrington, as I imagine you are reading this, I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with your remarks to me on the record regarding my argument I made on behalf of my client.

Never, have I seen or experienced in almost a decade of practice a individual on the bench ask in the manner you did on the records in a full court room, if my argument based on NY state law is the argument I wanted to go with. Yes - it is. You derogation of the law and belittle of an officer of court is quite frankly despicable.

As i stated on the record, I do not take my constitutional oath lightly, and that I swore to zealously represent my clients, under the law as it is promulgated.

Your ridicule of an attorney zealously representing his client on the record and in open court illustrates just how much you respect this honorable profession. I wish you to reconsider making suchs remarks to other memebers of the bar that come before you in the future.

In 2024, practicing law is not an stressless profession. Us practicing attorneys do not ask for anything but respect when representing our clients and making legal arguments.

Rude, obnoxious, and entitled pretty much sums up Ms. Harrington's demeanor. Would not recommend doing business with.
