The response is telling. The fact it was during an off election year instead of general election year when turnout and attention is higher. LA well funded group with outside DARK money. The voter has spoken. Those 10s of thousands could have been better spent on things like invasive species eradication in Saguaro park, trash cleanup, dozens of other places instead of outside special interests. Run along now. Barely 1/3 of voted during this off year special election which should speak volumes, they didn’t want this on a general election ballot probably hoping it would slip thru. Waste of time and money. How invest in the community you apparently “love”?!?!

62% of the voters said NO. This is wider margin than the last attempt 10 years ago 55% NO. Follow the money on these efforts. The group pushing this was well funded by outside dark money. Tells you all you need to know.

A group full of lies and deception. A group funded by organizations and businesses outside of Vail, while claiming to love Vail. A group that put out a story in a local publication (Vail Voice) of a meeting that went so well, when the meeting hadn't happened yet. A group who works with the city of Tucson to scare Vail residents with threats of annexation. A group that has hands in the Pima County Planning and Zoning Commission.

They will sell out the citizens of Vail to get kickbacks from guys who want to build more homes and probably apartments to ramp up their flow of taxes. "Preserve our lifestyle"....who's lifestyle are they wanting to preserve when they take money from major real estate developers outside of Vail? It's the lifestyle of the IVa board members they want preserved and not the citizens of Vail. They want to raise the citizens taxes exponentially.
