Only reason this has 3 stars is because of Jane’s partner, Grace. After purchasing my home and living in it for a month, I noticed a couple issues with the appliances. As far as I understood from discussions with the sellers, if I had any problems with the appliances, they would just pay some kind of $500 fee to waive their responsibility to replace or something. Either way the sellers and I talked about it before we even went to contract, no big deal. Back to after I moved in, I noticed the issues and called Jane to tell her I’d like to get that $500. So, apparently, the second Jane leaves that closing office, she’s done with you. She basically said she wasn’t even my attorney anymore at this point and was not obligated to reach out to the seller’s agent or attorney, and that since I never mentioned any of this to her IN WRITING that I couldn’t have expected her to remember to put any of this into the contract with the sellers. So, after lots of insults and back and forth, Grace called me back and kindly explained that since this wasn’t in the contract, all she could do was ASK the sellers about it. She did, I got my $500 because the sellers were very cool about it and even said “Yeah! We told him we would do that no problem!” This didn’t need to be a huge deal, but Jane is very unprofessional. You’re just a dollar sign to her and once she’s done what she’s paid to do (the bare minimum) then she never wants you to bother her again. If you HAVE to deal with this practice. Ask for Grace. She should be in charge.

Jane and her entire staff are on top of it, top notch, professionals, and a pleasure to deal with. I have used Jane McLaughlin for several legal issues, including real estate. She has expeditiously addressed my concerns, explained in detail what to expect and answered any questions. When dealing with buyers attorneys, she fights for you! If you are looking for someone to represent you, I wouldn't use anyone else!

Very None responsive to phone calls or emails. I DO NOT recommend working with the real estate agents in this office either. If you are seeking eviction processing simply go down to the court and file yourself. If you need foreclosure or deed-in-lieu counseling honestly the best thing to do is deal directly with your lender. Jane and Britney's advise was 180 degrees from what was the correct path for me to take and I would not recommend them to anyone. Wells Fargo was very easy and pleasant to deal with and the outcome for me was exactly what I was seeking.

When I made the decision to file bankruptcy, I was scared for the fact I didn't know what attorney I can trust. I looked up several attorneys online, I did my research. After talking with someone I was working for they referred me to Jane McLaughlin. I met with her and she explained everything to me in detail and answered every question I had. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She always returned my calls and emails promptly, never had a issue with her on that. I definitely will refer her to anyone who needs a bankruptcy attorney. She truly looks out for her clients. Thank you Jane!

I gave 2 stars, simply because she "showed up". First, Jane does not return calls in a professional time frame. 2 days should be enough. Second, she does not exude confidence, so how could I feel confident in her. Unfortunately, because she already lifted a pencil, I had to pay her anyway, if that wasn't the case I would have released her. Jane was referred to me by a local realtor to handle an eviction case. I am a landlord and have had to work with many lawyers, good - great lawyers, JANE IS NOT one of them. She doesn't communicate, she advised me to accept an offer WITHOUT attempting to negotiate in my favor (LAZY), she also advised not to bother pursuing a tenant but I insisted and it worked out.....when you have to advise your lawyer There's a problem. When you have more conviction than your lawyer, there's a problem. In my opinion, JANE DOESNT CARE. So I suggest to try another law firm - that's my referral. Good luck. (Oh, P.S. My case isn't closed just yet - waiting on her to return 3 messages I've left since last week. I've already paid her...wonder if I'll ever hear from her!)
