I don't know where to begin with how amazing my experience was with Mr. Jeffries. He and his team turned an absolute nightmare of purchasing a brand new car into something positive. I was at a complete loss as to handle purchasing a brand new vehicle that kept breaking down, and was in the shop for over 2 months less than a week after I bought it. If you’re thinking about lemon law, but unfamiliar with it, you should at least take the chance to reach out to Jeffries. Even the initial phone call, they were great listeners and explained the process and intake. We started the process in October and by January got told our settlement amount. We didn’t accept the initial offer from the manufacturer and Jeffries countered their offer and we immediately heard back within the next week and accepted. Overall, we are happy and very satisfied with our experience with Jeffries! They take the time to explain, listen, and are very communicative and respond promptly with any questions you have. The process was amazing from beginning to end. They were able to get me a settlement for the full amount allowed under the Texas Lemon Law after trying unsuccessfully for a few months to get the car back directly from the dealership. AMAZING! We struggled with FCA about our Jeep that had spent over 200 days at the dealership chasing a check engine light. FCA refused our request for a buyback, but within 6 weeks of contacting Jeffries Law, FCA agreed to pay $30,000 and we were able to get out from under that lemon. This lifted a huge financial and emotional weight off my shoulders. I highly recommend this law firm for lemon law claims.

My truck has spent an additional SIX WEEKS in the a Ford Service Center!!!! Note to people; DO NOT take ANY offer unless they have it in WRITING they will fix your truck!!! I had to delete previous comments due to limited space.

BLUF: Over the past five months, I have encountered a series of problems with my vehicle, and my attorney withdrew from the case without providing any solutions. I am still trying to understand why the law firm initially took my case. I purchased my vehicle in January 2020, but even though the purchase agreement exceeded 24 months, they stated that I still have a case under Lemon Law. During this time, I faced more mechanical issues with my vehicle. I took it to AutoNation Ford, where I had bought the truck in January 2024, and while it was in the shop, they called me to collect my vehicle without fixing it or providing a reason for returning it to me. I then took it to the only other reasonable Ford Dealership in Corpus Christi, Sames Ford, and after dropping it off, they told me to come and pick it up because it was under litigation. I explained to them that the vehicle was still under the Manufacturer's Warranty, but they told me to leave the property. I immediately contacted the law firm about what had happened to me. One of the attorneys responded and later called to say that Sames Ford could not refuse warranty work because a Lemon Law case had been filed, and it was not an excuse to deny warranty work.
In late April, after months of waiting, I was presented with a settlement offer from Ford. However, this offer was far from satisfactory. It was a low-ball offer that did not come close to compensating for the extensive time my vehicle had spent in the shop. In fact, my truck had been in the shop for a total of six months in the past three years, and now, with the additional time from December 23 onwards, I have been without my vehicle for a year in total. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the offer, the attorney handling my case dismissed my concerns, stating that my truck was old, the cost of litigation would be high, and my truck did not qualify under Texas Lemon Law. In addition, Ford Service Centers can refuse work! This response only deepened my confusion about why they took my case in the first place. I showed the law firm pictures of my truck, which showed that it spends most of its time covered and barely driven. However, I was then told by the law firm that Ford dealerships can refuse to service my truck, which contradicted what they had previously told me. I was offered the lowball settlement with no guarantee that my truck would be fixed, and in exchange, I would have to waive my warranty rights. Obviously, I found this unacceptable, and the law firm withdrew from my case, leaving me with a King Ranch truck with 15,175 miles that is now dead in my driveway, with two dealerships refusing to work on it. My only option now is to have it most likely towed to a dealership that is 30 minutes to an hour away, and no local dealership will agree to work on it now that an attorney has been involved.
I don't know what the settlement was for, and if the law firm responds about representing me for warranty work, that was not the original reason why they took my case. All in all, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I can back everything up in emails and text messages what I stated above.
Response: Not going to get in a back and forth so last remarks in the review. I would have accepted an offer if and ONLY if it first guarantee my truck was repaired and the Warranty work was scheduled and completed. I don't need the money, I need my truck fix. You nor Ford would NOT provide anything in writing that would make that part of any settlement. Other than me, NO ONE ELSE is losing sleep because I have a $80,000 truck in my driveway that is worthless at this point. If I am incorrect about my remarks, please send the offer from Ford to me and I will review it as well as my sister who is also an attorney. Previous remarks had to be deleted.
