I had some parking tickets I had to resolve and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I am so happy that I was ticketed.
EVERY single person I interacted with was the epitome of supreme service and a testament to their fields.

the honourable and incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful: Judge DeMarco. Who I not only had the honour to “work” with, but also got the chance to witness her work with other cases (that were ahead of me). It was remarkable to see how she truly is there to try and help every single individual to cultivate a better community. I loved her level of care and compassion as well as her humbleness and genuine sincerity. Not to mention her quick humour!

Jennifer and Shelby who were incredibly helpful and professional. When I saw them for check in or to finalise my parking ticket, I knew that everything would be handled perfectly, with care, and that my time with them would not only be pleasant but efficient! They are both so amazing and I began to look forward to seeing them. I knew kindness, genuine smiles, and help would meet me every time I saw them.
To:
the Prosecutors who were incredibly helpful and made me feel like they genuinely wanted to help give me the best possible outcome and were looking out for me. I had the immense pleasure to “collaborate” with Erica, Jason, Will, and Ashley. Who are all incredible and true testaments to their profession. Thanks to them I did get the best outcome. I will forever be grateful for their willingness to help, their kindness, and their level of sincerity.

the Deputy Sheriff’s who checked me in, now these guys were amazing and incredibly kind, friendly, and polite. My case was subject to some extensions, and the Deputy Sheriff’s remembered me. It was like seeing an old friend and having a quick catchup, which made everything so much better. I also will never forget when an individual (who’s case was being heard at the time) started crying and the Deputy Sheriff in the room swiftly and quietly gave that individual a box of tissues and witnessing that act of kindness was so beautiful.

The level of professionalism and stellar customer service I experience truly left me in awe. So incredible I almost want to get another parking ticket. Almost. A huge sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone that I had the honour interacted with - you guys are the best!

If I could give a zero star, I wouldn't. I would give a negative. An officer that was checking my husband and I into the facility was sooooooo unprofessional! My husband was trying to explain that he had steel in his leg/ankle monitor on and that is why the metal detection will keep going off, and they cut him off saying AND I QUOTE " There is a reason you're coming to court, you need to go to church or something." Excuse me? They're racist, unprofessional and just treating people inhumane. PEOPLE PLEASE SEE THIS! BE CAREFUL AND PROTECT YOURSELF, because clearly the officers are not!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. As a domestic violence survivor, I learned the hard way that Johnson County does its best to keep people from going to prison that TRULY deserve it. I was treated poorly from the victim advocate to the prosecutor to the judge. Nobody ever wants to talk on the phone, instead I am always asked to email someone, and I never get a reply. I will not stop until I get the answers I deserve not only as a citizen of Johnson County, but as a victim they failed to protect.

Receptionist lady was very rude. Had me on hold for 15 minutes just to have a horrible attitude and tell me that she couldn’t help me in anything. Didn’t even let me talk then put me on hold again and hung up horrible customer service she should be fired.

The police officers at the metal detector are awesome; no waiting time at all and very professional; which reflects how well they were trained, I received proper instructions on how to proceed with my child support case from the helpdesk staff; I used to hate going to court in the past but today things changed in a very positive way, did my digital legal motion in no time, even when they were about to close, everybody was helpful, five stars no doubt.

I haven’t had dealings personally but I have seen 1st hand the biased, the lies, allowing certain parties to enter evidence to a motion, judges yelling at the defendants and being so unprofessional, and much more. Kansas should be ashamed that this is how they think courts should be run. It’s very disturbing. Kansas is a pro-mom state instead of doing what is best for the child which is 50/50. This is why these kids are mentally messed up and emotionally scared for life. Then the real professionals are the ones treating the devastation y’all created. Kansas, you have a lot of work to do. Dads just want to be dads.. I’m a mom and I did what was best for my children and that was 50/50 without a fight and my ex and I used the same attorney. But, I wasn’t in this state, thank Goodness! These are kids lives you are destroying and what if it was your child DO BETTER, KANSAS!! Now is the time to VOTE TO GET THROUGH CORRUPTION OUT!

Hours are incorrect, we came at 4:32pm and they said they had closed the Clerks office 5 minutes prior even though it says open until 5pm online. Very disappointing county should do better to keep this sort of thing updated as people don't have that time to waste.

Great place, tight security I advise you not to bring a lot of metal because you have to take it all off, this includes shoes and glasses! Other than that you can just walk in and listen, a ton of lawyers come out in the hall to discuss a court case, its fun to listen in on.
