I called to schedule a consultation. The lady on the phone asked a few questions. I explained my complications, she was NOT empathetic at all, she lacked compassion. She rudely told me it's almost impossible to get disability with mental health that I need to have physical limitations. I explained again my mental health gives me physical symptoms it's a rare condition. I felt unheard, dismissed and was flabbergasted by her response. I chose to end the conversation, I do not feel comfortable that the lady was not compassionate or understanding while speaking to me. How can a lawyers office meant to help people be so ugly? This is at no fault of the lawyer, but the staff answering phones is disheartening.
